I have never been to a dispensary. I probably wont get the chance to visit one until sometime in 2025. Reading the packaging information is interesting. I visually do not see much difference of the flowers, but I do not know what to look for. Thanks for posting.

Haha i always have high hopes. I haven't found that reall stinky bud in a while. The stuff where you crack a jar and immediately the whole room looks and goes quiet. That shit that gets you squintin as soon as you take a sniff.

It’s hit or miss, sometimes I get a nug the size of my thumb and it’s dank as fuck, sometimes I come away and there’s a bit more to be desired. Visually they do look similar but each definitely smell and taste differently.

The dispo concentrates/hash products are on point, 510 vapes aren’t my thing, but the dabs are very clean.

CA. The weed is cheap but the taxes are outrageous. It's why the black market still prevails. But they are doing ops here on illegal sales of marijuana so ppl buy it legally and pay the outrageous taxes.

Funny story, I’m driving home from Florida, my wife and I decide to stop in Perry. A little hole in the wall town. We go to the hotel there, rent a room, lost my wallet so I only had cash, had to put a deposit down for the room for the night, In case of smokers. Well, I want that deposit back, I’m going out to my truck to smoke. Well, I had my wife drive out to Florida to pick me up for the drive back to Texas, I had her bring some freshly chopped cali big bud x nl5. It was still really fresh, I wanted wifey to bring it so I could leave some with family. Well at the hotel, the herb was still a bit damp, so I had to take it out of the jar, and leave the lid off. Next morning, I go to get my deposit back, and this bitch tells me they are keeping the deposit, because it smelled like I smoked weed in my room. From my herb drying, I started to have a bit of a back and forth, explaining I did not smoke the room, the was no rule about having stinky herb blah blah, well, they said the word police, and I said, hey…fuck you. Eat shit and die. So about an hour down the road I look at wifey, and I snatched a silver lining, I say “did I just get charged $250 for having pot that stinks so bad you didn’t even have to smoke it to leave a mark?” I smiled, but pissed I got dinged on that, but that was some pretty killer validation all told. fuckers.

1 Can in the glove box or under the seat, and 1 can in the trunk at ALL TIMES. This has been my go-to for years and years. I remember back when the only place you could find this stuff was Ace Hardware. Now they sell it at Walmart, Autozone, etc. etc. One tiny spray in your car will clean the air even if you just hot-boxed a blunt. Never leave home without it!

Even here in CO where weed is legal and everywhere, I don't chance it. Not getting some dumb ass DUI for anything. It's not my fault some idiots can't handle their weed.

Colorado cracked down on illegal grows at first but they've slowed down on that aspect. Since they actually have reasonable tax rates the dispensaries have pretty much killed our black market. It's hard to compete when the dispos are selling 50 dollar oz's. Most people get their weed from the medical dispos because it's super easy to get a "red card" in Colorado and if you don't have one, all you have to do is ask around on the street and you'll find someone who does have one that can go to a dispo for you.

I've heard Illinois tax is so out of hand that the black market is booming. It's funny how these states think they can get away with ridiculous taxes like people are actually going to pay it. Illinois should have learned from Cook County (Chicago county) that raised their county sales tax and everyone started shopping outside of the county. Well everyone that could afford to travel does, anyway.

Luckily we can grow 12 plants in Colorado without a license or anything. Technically it's 6 in veg and 6 in flower, but they don't really g.a.f. about that as long as you're around 12 plants. You can even get away with a few more, like probably up to 20, before anyone starts to look at you sideways...

With a medicinal license you can grow anywhere between 24-75 plants, now, and up to 99 if you have a terminal illness but those licenses are a lot harder to get than they used to be so the usual max is 75, now.

But even just growing 12 plants can give you quite the stash for the year if you are halfway decent at growing.

Yeah when you get a couple of seasons under your belt you'll probably have more weed than you know what to do with

I had to buy a 100 pack of the 5 gallon wicket bags from Grove Bags for last year's hemp and weed harvest. For the record, in my opinion, those bags were worth every penny. I was a little skeptical about them due to their price and all, but the bags worked great for me. No trichomes stuck to the sides of the bags, I can reuse the bags because they're not cheap and don't fall apart or deteriorate like turkey bags for instance. And they hold the moisture in pretty well if sealed properly.
