I'm not looking for recipes or steps. I've been making it for quite some time now. I'm just wondering how every one strains theirs I still run mine through 190 micron bag then double unbleached coffee filters. Issue is it takes hours to strain even 5 cups. 🤷‍♂️all ideas welcome and appreciated thanks

anyhoo when filtering the weed out i pour the mix through a strainer lined with cheese cloth, so when poured through i grab/wrap the cloth around weed and squeeze the rest out into the bowl than put in trash..
let the mixture settle for a couple hours than gently scoop out filtering through 2 coffee filters into a jar (change filters every one or two fills).. as your getting to the bottom just pour out the remaining mixture into your scooping cup,
when done filtering let sit again for couple hours, depending on amount of sediment if any than refilter or just be carefully when pouring out liquid to cook off or evaporate off..
 
I push the coffee filter deep into the jar using something like a medicine bottle and hold it in place with a lid ring. That way, I can pour a lot of fluid into the filter at once. A lid ring is also useful for holding cheesecloth in place. To keep the cheesecloth from clogging, I let the particulate settle for a few minutes. Then I slowly rotate the jar as I pour the liquid into the filter jar. I usually put a lid on the filter jar while it drips through the filter. That can take a while, so I do a second wash while it's dripping.

I perfer making F.E.C.O it's what my customers want thanks for the reply I didn't enjoy using cheese cloth idk why just wasn't for me🤷

I also push one deep then have a second not so deep.. guess I could just run 2 jars and add them at the end. 🤷
 
When I used flower for tinc, I would double bag the decarbed flower in 250 micron press bags, combine after freezing, let the bags drip dry and then reduce the volume. There would be trichomes husks laying in the bottom but it was clear and potent. Now I press the flower, decarb and add the exact amount of rosin to the exact amount of etoh to reach my desired 40mg/ml. No reducing, filtering and extra work. Food for thought.
