Found web on plant. Toss it?

found this web on my plant. Toss the whole thing? Don’t know where I could’ve gotten mites from. This is the only plant that looks sick

There attacking the weakest first that doesn’t mean because the others don’t look sick yet there mite free

you can toss that plant but it won’t help loads it will slow them down however the mites & their eggs will be everywhere and they will just munch on another

Some plants are a bit more resistant to mites but at the end of the day if the mites hungry and there’s food nearby you can guess the rest.

You can buy predator mites there safe and work really well or you can buy something else and treat them

Everyone has there own preferences and you will probably get many recommendations & claims

For now while if you’ve nothing else just dunk the plants in water if there to big then spray them with water rem it will only knock them off it won’t kill them

Oh btw a pic of the whole plant/grow might help I see curled leaf’s and dark edges witch isn’t mite damage. Some one else may hopefully pick that up

They’re only like 2 weeks old. So while I’m in veg I’m down to try just about anything to kill them all. Root drench etc you name it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am a new grower. Next round I’m going with coco lmao

Personally I prefer to use predator mites

Coir aka coco has more needs bud it needs watering daily and the medium has no food , you might find it’s harder work

If you’ve been outside in the garden then attended your plants that’s where they came in either do it vise versa or have a shower and change clothes before attending to your garden if you’ve been outside

The other one would be if you’ve a pet you let near the grow.

Ayeee good looking out for me. Yeah I think I’ll just go with the predatory mites. They seem like the most cost effective. And could be either a cat or me going into the garden. Thanks for the advice! I’ll get a couple bottles and add them. I just premixed a whole trash can full of soil. I’ll add it there as well. Appreciate the advice

Two weeks old and from seeds not clones ?

If there from seeds it seems very early for webbing to early it might just be a rouge normal spider
I can’t see any mite damage also I’d would expect webbing to be at the top that and it’s one random bit
It’s the adults that do the webbing two weeks seems very fast to see webbing

The lack of feeding damage ( you’d expect yellow dots ) also makes me wonder if it’s just a normal rouge spider witch won’t hurt it

This is what I ended up chopping off it today when I topped it. Not sure. Might still get the predatory ones as preventative maintenance though

From seed though. No clones. Got the soil from a eh shop. Not sure if they can come from seed

There’s two main types of predators. ones more ferocious, the other don’t eat so much but can live longer without food

If your uk based this is a good place to get them direct instead of via a Amazon seller

I not sure you have mites I can see a tiny bit of yellow spots not enough to say without being there it does look it’s got a nutrient imbalance mites thou i can’t see well enough to say you have any. Have a look with a scope on the back of the leafs if there are any they will be hiding there and you should see eggs mainly along the veins.

I still think it might just be a random spider however I would like others to look as I’m on a tiny iPod atm.
