Yep it could be that,

search for jaalee sensors on Aliexpress, good stuff and very precise. Jht-2 models are +/- 0.1c and +/- 1.5% RH, high level accuracy and not that expensive, they are waterproof.
Bluetooth and could also be used with their wifi getaway for checking from anywhere you have a connection, the app has almost realtime graphs (1sec bluetooth and 1 min wifi Intervals).
