I haven’t read those books forever. Was reading Thomas Harris & Stephen King since I was 8 yrs old! No wonder I had all those nightmares 😂

Fun Fact: my 7th grade english teacher kicked me out of her class when she took away my "Silence of the Lambs" book while I was reading it in her class. I told her "Give me back my fuckin' BOOK!" .. I was sent to the principal's office.. BUT I GOT MY BOOK BACK. . . Bitch.

Yeah, there is a half price book store the wife and I haunt, you can go in there with $5 and roll out with a brown paper bag full….we are waiting for the day we go, and they are closed 🫣

Yeah part of our grade was to read these books she had on a little book cart and then take tests on said book. Often times class was 30 minutes of lecture and 30 minutes of reading, so I brought my own books after I had read all her teenie-bopper books... The outsiders.. Hamburger, my Hamburger.. Shit like that... I was bored with her books. I had the reading level of a Sophomore in college when I was in 6th grade.

In fact that was part of my argument to her, "I don't want to read your dumb fuckin books!" 🤣 man... I was a handful as a kid, I tell ya.

Makes me think of the time I got kicked outta class for having a book called Blanche Knotts book of truly tasteless jokes. They took that book too lol & it was truly tasteless
