Stoner Pondering.....on Solo grows, is a plant's life cycle (in time) similar to say a 7 gallon plant?

Flower time stays the same for the most part. But in veg the roots system can only stretch to your container size. That being said, once root bound by container. There is no longer a purpose to veg longer. If that makes any sense. Grow on growmie

I have a kush strain does that too. In good condition I will never see a seed. And she is . Best part, I don't have to buy seeds

It does, thx. I guess my thought was to stay at 1/2G or G for maybe 7 or 8 weeks before flip. I'd like to save space AND manipulate but don't want it to be detrimental to it's flowering.
What happens if you ran a pot bound solo Capt? I mean 'wire wrapped around the axle' pot bound? I've hacked on root balls when planting bushes outdoors but not sure you can be that rough with a Solo root ball?

Nope, can’t be that rough at all. I will take the time to unwind the ball if it’s choking the plant out. Sure you can snip some away, but I always looked at that as tempting fate with such a small root zone. So yeah, tedious. But worth it. But if they get crazy rootbound in veg, flip. Otherwise you may end up empty handed (I never legit killed a plant that way either) I use a waaaaaay dialed back nutrition regimen when they are in cups, just a higher volume of water to keep them healthy and small. None of what I said applies to an actual solo run though. Just controlling a plant for availability in space. Otherwise, I bomb them if I’m going to flower them in a cup. It just depends what you are up too……
