Ok, just look at it like this, a feminized seed, is predisposed to hermaphroditism from the jump. They way the seeds are made through stressing, colloidal silver ect makes it this way. The banks don’t tell you this unless the seed they are selling is designated f1/f2 s1/s2 ect.I guess I'm stoned and thinking again. Over dumb shit. I'm stuck with a banana image in my head. Dumb question. If it's a feminized and nanners. That's a feminized seeds with a hermi gene? And If a reg seed hermis. Same results as a feminized? Or would the seeds stay reg?![]()

I Got some freebie f1's. Was just reading this: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/us/blog-what-are-f1-hybrid-cannabis-seeds-n1517Ok, just look at it like this, a feminized seed, is predisposed to hermaphroditism from the jump. Herming a reg seed, you gotta be crazy mean to the plant. I can’t remember the last time I pulled a herm from a reg run. The genetics are stable. Now, you can get stable fem seeds too, but they need to be cultivated through a few runs, to have the stress tendencies bred back out. This process takes time. And banks suck because they lie and sell bulk seeds that haven’t been stabilized. Hope this clears up some stuff.

All that knowledge, I have to smoke another one. Thanks for the info growmie. Now I have to think of some more dumb shit. Just gonna say, keep an eye on those free “f1” seeds regardless. What with all the shifty shit out there. I’d grow em though. Just saying be proactive while you are in the first 3 weeks of flower. Keep an eye on that mid to low canopy.I Got some freebie f1's. Was just reading this: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/us/blog-what-are-f1-hybrid-cannabis-seeds-n1517
Interesting stuff. Didn't know purple was a recessive trait lol
Lol just a bit more practice. I'm already paranoid checkin these fems everyday. Im going to need to pick up some of these bad boys:Just gonna say, keep an eye on those free “f1” seeds regardless. what would be the best way to stabilize cap, would serial cloning do it, or just growing in the same invironment, with same strain over until its stable to that invironment.Ok, just look at it like this, a feminized seed, is predisposed to hermaphroditism from the jump. Constant breeding under certain conditions, generation after generation, basically...what would be the best way to stabilize cap, would serial cloning do it, or just growing in the same invironment, with same strain over until its stable to that invironment.
yeh makes sense bud.Constant breeding under certain conditions, generation after generation, basically...
I been going down the breeding/herm/genetics rabbit hole for a week or so. This gives some useful info:what would be the best way to stabilize cap, would serial cloning do it, or just growing in the same invironment, with same strain over until its stable to that invironment.
For some perspective I first got hold of and started breeding Forbidden Fruit back in like 2019 and I am still a year or two out from having seeds I can actually stand behind.I been going down the breeding/herm/genetics rabbit hole for a week or so. This gives some useful info:

Hahaha that would have gotten some votes in the photo of the month contest. I would love to see itBeen there. Done that. Got the T-Shirt
We used oversized fabric pots and bailing wire to make the root ball and hung them from the rafters. We even played around with the lights. If you grow them like this with the light above, they will start bending upwards toward the light. However, if you put the light on the floor, below the plant, it will grow mostly upside down. Even most all the leaves will be upside down pointed toward the light.
Didn't really make any sense, though. It was a neat experiment but I cannot find any practical uses for it. It doesn't really save or create any extra space.
Maybe I'll do one again just for you guysHahaha that would have gotten some votes in the photo of the month contest. I would love to see it
I heard what you said about the forbidden fruit. I'm interested to see what they are looking like after 2 years of your selective breeding. I bet they are goi g to be amazingFor some perspective I first got hold of and started breeding Forbidden Fruit back in like 2019 and I am still a year or two out from having seeds I can actually stand behind.
i have a plant that ive kinda been doing this to. just snagged a bud clone of it outdoor, be trying to root it then carry it on maybe if i hit it with something more stable would help the next generation to.Constant breeding under certain conditions, generation after generation, basically...
