I’m kinda a science geek and like to make decisions with data. As to feeding My takeaway is feed 2 weeks after flower start and quite in week 4 after flower start. That’s not data.

I’m wondering if stopping when the first sign of Trichomes is a better rule (Visual data). On my first plant that was week 4 post flower start. I’m very pleased and getting very good Trichome coverage now. The second plant is taking longer to grow large buds, I assume Trichomes will be after week four.

Any feedback?

What kind of feeding? Organic or synthetic? What kind of media? If you are growing in soilless media like coco or rock wool i would say you need to feed more often than soil. The flush would be critical. I grow organic. I can feed the day I cut down my plant with no flush.

I think it's dependent on what system you're running. Someone transplanting frequently in amended soil might not feed until well into flower. A grower in coco could be fertigating every day, and the hydro guys' plants are living in nutrients. Those are just three I know about. I imagine there are all sorts of other setups and approaches.

You gotta define your parameters better. Excellent info on the boards for many different grow styles. Dig deeper and I think you will find what you are looking for. I’m not being coy either.
Cheers

Tilapia works better and cheaper than coy🤣🤣🤣

Ok I couldn't help myself with that last post... but look into aquaponics with tilapia fish tho

My bad, I should have said those things: Bruts Worm casing living soil, Big Bud 0-1-3 organic fertilizer, grow tent with excellent heat/humidity control.

HA! The space available in my little house accommodates a 2x2x4 tent! I'm only growing for my little use so small varieties are fine; have two plants growing at a time, different stages. Talapia taste better than Koi so that's how I'd go!

Since my first plant is excellent in quantity I'll stick with that 90% Sativa small plant strain. Also, Brut worm casting soil has good levels of nutrients for cannibis. I'll stick with 2 weeks after flower set to micro feed and reduce feeding when there is good coverage of visual Trichomes. I took very good notes, "grow diary". My second plant I fed right after flower set. I had minor leaf burn. I also transplanted it and it shot up: string bean growing lots 'o Popcorn! I be learned; cannabis is not like vegetables. Huh, go figure! Having a blast!

Excellent! I never heard of flushing. I have accidentally been following a decent feeding schedule. Stopping feeding about 3-4 weeks before harvest , when there is a hint of cloudy Trichomes, is similar to flushing but over time the nutrients will be absorbed. I can see how Coco would make better tasting cannabis; flushing would immediately work. I'll stick to soil and close to organic at that. Thank you much! Scubes
