I'm currently forcing myself to watch Star Trek Enterprise. I never could get into it. But as bad as it is, it actually isn't as bad as I thought..I love billy shatz full stop. Wrath of khan is essential viewing in this house, but I’m a Picard guy. He was just excellent.
Is it weird that I screen shot this list to find them all and make sure I see the ones I haven’t? I know I’ve seen 75% of these, def not all though. Def wanted to see Picard though I saw an episode of it, Picard was painting with data. It was really different. But cool as hell too, life just got in the way on that. Thx for the reminder and trek key map.I'm currently forcing myself to watch Star Trek Enterprise. I never could get into it. But as bad as it is, it actually isn't as bad as I thought..
I have only seen like 2 episodes of Discovery, and haven't even touched Picard, SNW, or any of the other newer Treks. But I am trying to watch them all in chronological order according to the story -
- Star Trek: Enterprise (2151-2156)
- Star Trek: Discovery Season 1 & 2 (2256-2258)
- Short Treks (2256-2258)
- Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2259)
- Star Trek (2258) - Optional
- Star Trek Into Darkness (2259) - Optional
- Star Trek Beyond (2263) - Optional
- Star Trek: The Original Series (2265-2269)
- Star Trek: The Animated Series (2269-2270)
- Star Trek: The Motion Picture (2273)
- Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (2285)
- Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (2285)
- Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (2286)
- Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (2287)
- Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (2293)
- Star Trek: The Next Generation (2364-2370)
- Star Trek: Generations (2371)
- Star Trek: First Contact (2373)
- Star Trek: Insurrection (2375)
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (2369-2375)
- Star Trek: Voyager (2371-2378)
- Star Trek: Nemesis (2379)
- Star Trek: Lower Decks (2380)
- Star Trek: Prodigy (2383)
- Star Trek: Picard (2399-2401)
- Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 (3188-3190)
I thought the remake movies they did were just.. alright, I guess.. The timeline shift is kinda lame tho.
Bro game of thrones took it to all the weird levels didn’t they?
Yeah I don't necessarily like the sexualization in Enterprise.. I mean T'Pol does have an ass you can bounce quarters off of, but that's about itIs it weird that I screen shot this list to find them all and make sure I see the ones I haven’t? It's the last 25 seconds I was trying to get.... kinda long drawn out point
Better continuity in cannon. That’s just the facts. Way less repeating of any plot or sub plot…….Star Wars is just glossed over redundancy at this point. I bought a ticket to the force awakens, I was pissed.Yeah as I explained it to my son, the main difference between SW and ST is this - ST is science fiction, whereas SW is science fantasy. ST is more based off of real scientific theory, whereas SW is more like magic/unrealstic. That's my basic summary lol
Both are great shows/movies/stories/worlds in general, though. I just happen to like ST much, much more![]()
I've even got a bunch of the Star Trek books. Did you know there are over 850 novels since 1968?! I mean you can even fuckin learn to read/write/speak KLINGON! I think ST has a much deeper story and fan base, for sure.Better continuity in cannon. That’s just the facts.
