I’m having trouble with my grow. I should mention I have zero grow experience with cannabis. I don’t have a legit setup, just one grow-light bulb I share between three pineapple plants and the cannabis seedling (the seedling is positioned to receive the most light) and several mirrors in position to enhance the quality of the light. I noticed yesterday around 6:00pm, just two hours before my light is scheduled to turn off, that the very first set of true leaves were beginning to curl upward at the very tips, just slightly, toward the light. Immediately, I thought it must be because I skipped a watering. I had just ordered a Ph down and up solution so I figured I’d wait until next morning to water it using the Ph additive. The second set is on its way, it seems to be doing okay. Also the first set of true leaves seem to be off in a way I can’t articulate very clearly. They don’t lay flat, they kind of have a “bend” to them yet it doesn’t seem entirely bad. Also the very first set of leaves, the baby leaves that first come in are starting to wilt. I know this is supposed to be a normal process it just seems entirely too early, at least for me, to be ditching those leaves. They appear to be a very nice light green so accurately pinpointing a problem, if any, is quite difficult for me. I don’t have all the gadgets necessary, like a hygrometer or anything else I can’t think of off the top of my head. The temperature in my house is set at 70 degrees. Yet it’s for sure a little warmer in my room because of it being relatively small. Before I end this plea for help I should add I didn’t get this seed from a trusted website or anything like that. I got it from one of the buds I was breaking up when I copped a half of my local hug dealer. I know this sounds ridiculous as the seed could possibly be inferior but prior to all this I had the seed tested for viability by dropping it in water to see if it sinks, which it did! Since Im already here, that is, in the very early stages of the plants life, I’d like to finish this grow and if the buds have seeds in them when that time comes I won’t even mind. I’m simply doing this to gain experience points. Please if anyone can help. 🙏

I’m using a coco coir with perlite, no worm cast or any kind of organic matter in the medium.
If necessary I can take a picture of my setup.

No I didn’t do any of this. I didn’t amend my soil with any organic matter or buffer it no, I didn’t know this. It’s just the standard coco coir seed starter and perlite. Am I able to save it if I introduce a low balanced water soluble fertilizer? Can I save it at all?

It’s literally gotten worse since I watered it the only set of true leaves are shriveling up now. For sure I’m fucked. I literally don’t know what to do.

I skipped yesterdays watering cause I didn’t have the Ph additives necessary at the time. So it went a good 18-20 hours in barley moist soil. I also make sure I water till a little bit of water drains at the bottom, just so the water can penetrate a little more deeply. when I watered the plant today this morning it got worse. I’m thinking the soil medium was just bad, I can’t conjure up any other potential culprit. I appreciate the mild condescension though, it’s just what I need to stay motivated.
You will struggle to grow Cannabis without the Research and the minimum tools/equipment. We will struggle to Help You out without these tools/equipment.

*Imagine a single tap root - how much water does she need 1ml maybe 2 ml every 4 days....

Shes water-logged, she will dampen-off and die. Sorry

Sure you can save it.
Your home is likely a little dry for the seedlings liking.
Place 2 small dowels one on ether side of the seedling. Pace a little juice glass upside down over the seedling so it sits up on the dowel.
Nice little humidity dome for a day or so until it grows some roots. The seedling will be ok.

Mix up a batch of proper coco. Very carefully transplant your little seedling into the new coco mix.
Be very gentle!.

Check out you can learn a lot.
Don't forget to come back k.

I already scrapped the seedling 🤦‍♂️ I plan on starting again when I’m better equipped to provide for the plant. Huge help though dude big thanks!

Jump on E bay or Amazon. Drop a few bucks and get
PH Pen
E.C pen
PPM pen
You will need them.
What about nutrients? Have you something in mind?
Make sure you have a 1/2 liter of Cal-Mag left for growing.
PH up juice, PH down juice.

You don't need to mortgage the house to get good pens. Just buy within your budget
and you will be ok. Make sure and get ph test solution stuff.

Hit youtube and learn how to play with all the new toys.

Promix h.p.
1..3 and 7 gallon pots
Fox farm dirty dozen 89 bucks on amazon....
Follow feed chart.... week 1 will start roughly 30 days after seedling sprouted above soil... feed at half dosages... fox farm or any other liquid nute....

I never bought a ph pen or ec pen... also the ph up and down is full of heavy metals I found out

Hello fellow new grower!! I recommend the soil grow like everyone else. It’s just way easier cause the nutrients are already in the soil for your seedlings. Def put a clear cup over your seedling though :) hit up a DQ and get a Sundae hahaha, that’s what I did for a nice seedling starter cup. Poke some hole in the bottom of it, and bam! Great little starter. Water your seedling an inch away from the stem too! That’ll help its roots spread and avoid water logging the stem and rotting it! Good luck my dude!

You should have a humidity dome over it for the first few weeks, seedlings need humidity more than they need watering of the soil. I just use a clear plastic solo cup, just spray the plant and spray the inside of the cup and cover it. Spray the plant few times once a day and keep it covered until you get at least 1 set of leaves.

I tend to disagree with that... clones yes you want high humidity to promote root growth but from seed no domes are necessary... if fact it has a higher risk of shock if I'm not mistaken

I have never had issues, but maybe they would grow better without them, I will have to try. Disregard my feedback ..sorry.

I have not used a dome. I don’t spray my foliage. I use rockwool starter pods to get them really pushing roots through germination. If you chose rockwool to germinate in, it will increase rate of root growth but you Must cover the rockwool from all light or you grow algae. When ready for nutrients, simply plop the pod into your soil and let her go.

Rapid Start, Root Excelurator , just to throw a couple products out there, is great to use until mid flower and will pump up those roots size and growth.
