Man, I have a metabolism that won’t quit. Everyone kept telling me it would slow down the older I got, yeah fucking right! I’m 150 soaking wet hahahaha. Been like that forever.

Ditto, 150#s and have 501's from the 80s that still fit. I'm lucky though, I eat a 5 lb breakfast every morning and can run until evening. After a few Barley Sammiches I'll eat a light dinner. Been this way my whole life

Mars ts series. Height is great. So I veg with those at 25-40% I run 2 of those in my veg room, older components than your model, so I would def crank that back to about 40%.

Damn Capt., you know how some times you don't see the forest for the trees? I've seen so much improvement in my veg tent after you mentioned this a while back. I dunno, I always kept my Mars TS at around 75%, why? no idea. I'm at 50% and 16" now but I'll tweak it down a little and monitor. Lighting is part of my game I'm not as edumacated at.....

I wanted to get a Cannagar press but got too impatient so tried making something in my Shop. Who needs plastic injection crap when there's wood, right?
Way overshot on the first size I made, it took over 8 grams to pack. Tony Soprano would have liked it.

I'm growing these babies in Cuba, on a extremely low budget. All I have is V1000 (100w) ViparSpectra light costs 60$, no temp or Rh meters, no pH pen, the nutes I have are meant for orchids (17-17-17 with no micro) and always have to eyeball the dosages. The soil is locally sourced, with some added stuff like sugarcane straw, local worm castings, and rice hulls. The grow room is an extra bathroom, the fancy panda film is aluminum foil. The insect and fly traps are made with duct tape, the fruit fly trap is a bowl of apple vinegar with a teaspoon of liquid soap. The reflective housing on the light is made of scraps from a industrial 4 tube T8 lamp housing. Using old shoe laces and thick wire to LST, trimming tools are a old kitchen knife and pair of old metal scissors. Light leaks are prevented with duct tape and cardboard, constant rolling power outages, providing airflow is a regular pedestal house fan, there's no extractors, not even air-conditioning. Fed the plants with vitamins intended for humans for their Cal-mag. Gotta turn on and off the light EVERY DAY myself, that means daily I have to walk 1 kilometer to the house where I have them and back in the morning, and then again 12 hours later. That's 4 kilometers of walking daily

Fuck yes it's been difficult, but if there's will, there's a way.

sure I'm not going to have the quality bud you guys have with all the equipment and experience y'all have, but at least it will be better than the street bud I get here... This is the best weed you can buy here in Cuba.

You don't need to spend crazy $ to grow bud indoors you just need desire, and dedication. Plus having a community of people like the fellas and gals here at #thcfarmer to back you up and encourage you is a huge boost. Thank you all, we are on the final stretch now, day 26 of flower.

Looking forward to smoking these girls by December 25th (which is also my Bday)

So the purpose of this post here isn't to brag, don't get me wrong. It's for all the people out there that think you can't grow bud because you don't have a 600$ tent kit. Yes you can, it's just a matter of how much you want it.

I was thinking about the same! What diameter bit did you use for the 4gram? Haha hell, while i'm at it, what diameter did you use for the 8g?

Did you finish the wood at all? Doesnt look like it in the pic, but i was thinkin some food safe mineral oil and let it cure fully. Or maybe just sand the hell out of it to maybe 2000grit.

I'm digging your fortitude my dude! I've been following your challenge from the jump. If there was a way I'd ship you some of my excess equipment to make your grows a bit easier. I guess having a steady supply of electricity has to be the #1 fuck all though. Good luck on the finish, lots of good people here for you as needed.

This reminds me, I really wanna get my hands on a 3d printer soon. They have come way down in price and gotten way better at making stuff. Having a ranch way out in the middle of nowhere, I'm pretty sure I'd put a 3d printer to good use just about every day around here!
