Fan leaves, keep em or not

I'm at 2.5 weeks into flowering. Should I keep fan leaves or not?

I'm an outdoor grower, so my information my not be applicable to you. I cut the fan leaves when I can see the trichomes are starting to fog up. They, the leaves, are a solar panel of sorts that feeds the plant via the sun, and probably some growlights. As the plant gets nature and food must be directed to the buds, the plant will quit feeding the lower leaves and they will die off on their own without you having to remove them.

Guys what about autoflowers, should I even take any leaves off? heared it's best not to touch autos, but also want to lollipop my girls...if it's okay, when is the right moment?
They're in week 1 in flower. Thx

No way... you'd be surprised what they can do... I had an auto under 12 and 12 and it gave me over a qp... more like 6oz

If I can't build my canopy I just have no interest at all
I have grown some decent ones but they were boring and finicky to me. Especially during veg you can't miss a beat

I keep them until they shade a top or a flower. So eventually they will all go. It is a lengthy process but a gradual one. I think removing them early could deprive the plant of energy those big solar collectors can provide.

Good call, I don't like to be negative, but I think photos are just so much easier and you can learn so much from them and make mistakes without dire consequences.
