Hey guys sorry I have been a little busy lately getting ready for my birthday and Christmas, I just wanted to let you guys know that Phlizon is hooking me up with a FD6000 640W light. SUPER excited about that!!!

This was the harvest of the second plant, they are both drying in a closet with the AC on all the time.

I had to chop them down early, smell was an issue. There was a attempted terrorist attack here from an exiled cuban living in Miami and other Cubans in the island they used jet skis to smuggle in guns and assassinate cuban politicians and start massive riots. So state security has been extremely amplified, the military is on the streets constantly, and soliders from the Ministry of Interior checked our work office with bomb dogs, and checked for guns. Since we are an American based NGO here and most of the people working here are Cuban nationals but American citizens. They also checked other organizations in Cuba not just ours, but one can never be too careful.

I was afraid they would do house searchs so I decided to cut it all down, and hang up to dry.

So i been in the drying tent rubbing stems... i found the peachy one. Heavy spice musk with a bit of peach candy behind it. #2 is giving me weird breakfast sausage vibes. Spices a bit of maple... pork?..?. I don't know, but i wanna taste it.

Been going low and slow on the dry. Keeping temps 55-63f and rh around 50%

Well honesty goes a long way. Especially if you can watch the entire grow you can see how they chose mothers and the quality of seed. Germ rate is also important.
As far as breeding...do they do it in secret or is it in the open for all to see? Idk. Idk. I'm getting into breeding and will soon have some awesome crosses.

Germination rate pretty much boils down to age of seed, storage methods if not super fresh and making sure they were taken to full maturity I would imagine.

Like most businesses, honesty and integrity defines a good breeder.

-do the breeders put in the work to stabalize their seeds? Mutations are common, but does the breeder take the time and energy to ensure their strains have been stabalized. It's a lengthy and costly process, but VERY important.

- are the genetics legit? I've seen growers plant 4 beans from the same pack and grow 4 completely different plants.

- customer service? Is there someone to talk to or atleast get an email response from? Sounds dumb, but will keep me coming back if they are willing to help. Germ guarantees are nice because it shows that the breeders have faith in their seed storage and seed health.

-strain selection? You smoke what you like, find a reputable breeder that deals with stuff you prefer.

When you talk about stabilization, are you essentially referring to breeding the selected traits for a number of generations? Is that basically what creates strain stability?
