THE TRAINWRECK. Brought to you by thcfarrmer…..

Fairly new with cloning only have cloned like 3 plants ( I'm small time, small budget grower) that's why I came here to ask, I know you know your stuff so very helpful info to have. My pleasure homie. My tool kit is your tool kit. Any damned time. 👊🏻🤡...

Hey Capt, do you feel like that's always the case? ( more vigor from seeds)
Hadn't ever considered that aspect. I enjoy seeds more, I like the whole process of germ especially a new strain I haven't grown.
I’d say 90% of the time for newer folks who decide to clone. Clones can have great growth rates too, if they were cut from the same stalk just opposite of each other, if you take top sites that are more hardened off from the same height in canopy they will root at the same rate given you prepped them exactly the same ect. But imo a seedlings growth will always dictate better more consistent data regarding this. Just be sure when selecting seedling candidates for a comparison grow, make sure they are at the exact same length before you plant. In a pot with the same amount of dirt down to the oz. More dirt in one seedling could translate to a more vigorous eater, a dirt discrepancy in this situation could possibly lead you to different results as the roots can seek out more food in medium than the other.
Just make sure everything is the exact same before you attempt this.

If anyone does autos, would a 2 gallon pot be good enough? I have a free banana purple punch auto seed from Fastbuds that I'd like to throw in just to see what it does (and get some faster smoke).
I've grown auto outdoors the last 5 years and pot size CAN matter.
Most growers don't recommend over 3-5 gallons, but I found that 10 gallons works best for me.
Being outside I believe the flucuation of temp and dry/wet weather is buffered by more room, more soil around the roots.
Just IMHO.

Well...I found Charlie sheen. 😆 I've been looking for this strain for a good 5 years now. I got a syringe of it from sfv and it was the best I mean the BEST high I've ever experienced and it's thc content isn't that high. I'm so excited. It sux it's only autoflower but maybe At a later time I can find the parents and make my own Charlie sheen strain. 😆

Love it. 👊🏻

Auto flower has only one speed.

GO!

Ok I didn't know if you had like a blackboard with names and positions and shit like 🤔 that's actually not a bad idea
The erasable kind.
I have used a chart with a grid layout for seedlings a lot in the past. When I roll larger pheno hunts and shit. 200 seed runs.
Is easier.

very cool, what about roots? same metrics like you said, are clones less of a root grower overall? would you say a clone could be grown in a smaller pot more efficiently than a grown out seed? {planning next grow coming up)

I’ve never really made that comparison myself. In terms which will throw more roots, I really think that comes down to how stacked the medium is with grubbins but me personally I treat clones like autos kinda. I usually finish them in 3s indoors. So I would think imo, a seedling will always produce better results than a clone. That’s just in my experience.
