These will be 4 weeks old Friday. 5 gallon fabric pots. Using promix hp as medium. I did a bottom layer of rock for irrigation purposes, 1/3 size of pot of promix and 1 lb of cali super soil autoflower concentrate, splash of vermiculite and mixed, then topped them off with a 50:50 promix and vermiculite. I just transplanted this past weekend into the 5 gallon pots from solo cups. I got the soil nice and moist but not overly wet prior to Transplanting. I watered the cups very very little the day before transplant otherwise the soil in the cups was pretty dry. They are in a 2x2x4, 100w vivosun light at about 50% right now to keep the temp in the tent up. Keeping vpd anywhere between .8-1.2. I had some one on discord say these look small for 4 weeks...what do you all think?

They look nice, but 4 weeks they should be bigger. Maybe I am wrong but looks like your dealing with slow growth. Looks like you watering/feeding in a small area on that big pot. I think your roots are past the spot you are watering. I would work on root growth. Saturate the pot completely and then let it dry out completely force the roots to search for water. The plant size and the way the media looks it will probably take over a week to dry out. I'm usually trying to flip to flower between 30-45 days. Since they look good and healthy but they are small working the roots is all you need. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 And if that's already the way you water then, my bad, I'm hella stoned.

Way underwatered.
Your soil is pulling away from the bag they are so dry. Get them a drink!!!

Well I just transplanted on Saturday. Like I said, I made sure the soil was wet prior to Transplanting and I wanted to give that soil time to dry up before I watered again. I also put a bit of top dressing on, the rest of the pot is not as dry as the top soil looks. I just got my soil moisture meter and will be putting those in the pots today. They were in solo cups before and I am starting to think I stunted them. Next time I will be planting directly in the soil, no solo cup. I also started them with a cheap Walmart soil which I believe introduce some nutes way too early. The one was showing signs of nitrogen burn. Hey, it's my first grow and I'll be happy if I harvest an ounce but from what I can tell is I should keep going with this grow. Someone else told me to pitch those and start over. Thought that was a little harsh 😕.

Naw they look fine, I would take the next couple waterings to work on roots. If soil is still wet let it dry, then water heavy again and let it dry. The little burn on the leaf is minimal and they look very decent. Just a little slower then it should be. Once you get those roots more established you should see good fast growth.

Those are def small for month old autos. However, you have four autos in a 2 x 2. You need them to be small. I would hang tight and see how they go. I have also seen stunted autos just veg for longer and end up decent. But seriously, unless you have another space to flower those in, I wouldn’t worry. Frankly, if they were all growing normally, you would have run out of space already and would be staring down culling plants or buying a larger tent, lights, etc.

I have a spot under my steps that is going to be my flower room. Just insulated it and drywalled, waiting on mylar now. I just planted the other seeds I had but wanted to get the soil under the lights to heat it up but yes, they will be moving to the flower room after veg. That is why there is 4 pots in a 2x2. Flower room is about 4x4x6 so plenty of room. My goal is to use the tent for germination and seedlings.

Just noticed this today...is this light burn or something else?
