My light on full is high dli around 55 but for flowering a table online says to average between 30/40, what do you guys do?

I look at my plant just before lights out. If the leaves look like they are praying I turn the light up.

I learned all that the hard way. Now I like to veg with a small led light using only like 200 watts of power. I have my small veg light and when in flower I switch to my bigger led. The small one is heavy on the blue spectrum as well so it works out perfect.

Another vote here for letting the plants tell you how much light they want. Praying an hour before lights out = more light, please. Flat, level, and bright green = happy with light level. Edge curl, taco-ing, canoe-ing, twisting, or any color other than green = less light please. No chart or recipe can tell you how much light your plants want.

From seedling to harvest, I watch the plants. So that's also my vote. I think it best to raise the lights in small increments, if possible, to give the plants time to adjust and for the grower to watch for signs of light stress or burn.

If your leaves are praying at night turn it up, if not let her be
