They named it eSoil​

This soil, which the researchers named eSoil, conducts electricity and is designed specifically for hydroponic farming. Their experiments found that barley plants grown in this electrically conductive soil grew 50% more in just 15 days when their roots were given an electric boost.

Ah, was watching someone here actually construct a few faraday cages for single plants, with no light, and electricity flowing to the cage low voltage. The idea was very similar to this. Guess what happened?



It failed. Plants died. I think he was missing a crucial dirt that conducts electricity……it’s a thing. I had no clue till roundabout last year.

Capt, i gotta give you props. The Cali Blues is a BEAST. Genetic tank....
I dropped 6 beans.. some unforeseen circumstances and my shit blew up. Ended up leaving the sprouts to focusing on some matters off the farm... germination station left maxxed and forgotten about. 24hr light and temps reaching above 90f almost a week and all but the 2 Cali were toast.. did a transplant on the calis and soaked 2 more Banner#2, a Blue Cheese, and a North Thunderfuck. New cracked beans went straight into 1g plastics to match the Cali Blues.

So, i'm not sure, but wouldn't all dirt conduct electricity? Especially when wet? I would imagine for cannabis with the amount of salts we put in our soil the EC would be even higher.

Is the esoil a conductor even when bone dry? That's cool
