Well fuck. I helped my parents set up their new TV on black Friday and put my spare Amazon prime account on it that had a free trial. Just checked that email and they've been renting a bunch of movies after the trial expired for $6 a pop going on my debit card. lol

No one to blame but myself for not deleting the payment info. They probably didn't know they were renting

My in laws did the same thing to me, bought them a smart tv after their house flooded in hurricane Harvey. They racked up close to $100 in National Geographic and travel documentaries. They did it all not knowing when I set the app up for them certain things weren’t free. They picked all the damn expensive ones. I feel you man, ain’t no one’s fault but our own there. Now if they started racking up a porn tab we would have been having……….wait. Uuuuhg

Yeah, the way Amazon has it set up it's just click pay and play all at once. I can see how some people wouldn't realize they're actually making a separate purchase since there's no confirmation screen that you are. They should have a quick checkout screen like everything else you buy online.
