So I got a little bag of each to try. I’m sure they make them bigger but the clip on the right has lil lips so it was hard to get the branch in and didn’t have a big slot so probably gonna restrict it in near future for science im gonna leave it on till harvest anyway. Adjustable one on the right though is pretty nice has an octagon key so it doesn’t slip or move. Anyone else give these a go?

I used a couple like the one on the right. I had the same fear as you about restriction, so when she fattened up a bit i pulled them off. Branch kept shape and all was good... i believe other folks leave them on til harvest with no issues. Might try it again this run

I don’t wanna mess with the right again lol I pretty much super crossed that branch getting it in there

So I got the dry cycle down to 3 days. It's a 1/2 gallon of 1/2 dose nutes every 3 days. But now I am showing a nitrogen deficiency. Going to need to increase nutes.

Seeing the same effect on the younger plant also. This one I really probably should flush it a little before it's done. So probably stay at 1/2 dose, but the younger one is getting an increased amount next feed. Going to have some fine tuning on this new dry cycle.

Crazy how they were able to get the cbd bud to increase cbd 50%-100%. Too bad it wasn't so black and white for the thc production.

So, I tried to read that all, just about done. But between 14-12hrs of light for flower, strain dependent, so yield better at 14hrs, but no significant increase in cannabinoid production from the THC plants, only the CBD.

Funny, because that almost seems counterintuitive to me. I'm not a scientist, and never played one on tv🤣, but from all of the reading I've done it would point that resin production (almost always correlated with cannabinoid) increased with a more light since it is the plants natural "suncreen."

Cool read and I love geeking out on cannabis related studies!

That's what i was thinking! I always find it interesting when plants do the opposite of what we expect. Lol can't say im not disappointed by the THC plants not performing with increased thc.

From what I gathered (I'm not that smart), seems like only commercial applications would benefit, I might tinker with starting at 14 and reduce to 12 midway (try to get a little of both worlds; but honestly 12/12 is easy to remember, and less power usage, so, meh🤣

Thanks for sharing, awesome that more and more scientific study is being released

Haha hell yeah. I'm tempted, but to really see a difference i'm gonna need 2 tents and do a side by side comparison. Might see what i do next run
