Revelation: So I always thought the pots were a bit smaller than the volume they say they are.. and in fact they are.. look at the sticker on this 1G nursery pot. 2.7L is 1.01L less than 1G... it's the same bs when you measure a 2x4 these days. If i just ruined your day with that.. don't measure any of your lumber...

Question: For those that water 20% of pot volume, do you calculate based on listed size or actual size of pot? 20% of 1G or the 2.7L? I know there is wiggle room with all of this based on strain/pot type/etc., but just curious.

I have a recipe that calls for certain things but it’s by name brand and and no sizes. I made it using all the new sizes and the thing was half the size and didn’t rise correctly. Since then I have been able to make it work. One thing that screwed it up last time the “egg shortage” large huevos were small. Seems like were bigger now but still like $12.
