Good for you! Yeah I punched out last May and stayed busy as hell all Summer working on my property, lost 15 lbs and felt great. I've been kid sluggo for the last 6 weeks though and need to get my butt in gear. Central NC has shit weather IMO from Jan 1 to March 1 and I hibernate, I have no use for temps under 50 degrees. My narrow ass does not do cold well!Beings I'm retired, I become a slug during the winter. But I decided to keep in shape this time because I plan to do lots of digging in Spring.
Exercise is boring so the kids talked me into trying Dance Dance Revolution and I'm hooked. Can't move as fast as the youngins but I'm getting better.
Full disclosure, it's a very slow song, BUT I passed on expert level!

Yeah I was eyeing his cloner, very cool. @Mikedin what do you figure you save in rooting time with your setup?I'm building an auto cloner, will post pics and details when it's ready. Taking the idea from @Mikedin but scaling it way back. Lol smaller clones, smaller reservoir, smaller footprint.
My question for anyone using a cloner:
What type of nutrients or rooting hormones are you using? Most of the instructions i've seen use hydroponic nutes. Is that necessary, or can i get away with my regular soil nutes? I'm sure the hydro nutes don't have any grit in them or something, but not sure.
Obviously ill add some PH down since i won't have soil with buffers.

I just run water, no additives. Run 24/7. I have never had a cutting fail.I'm building an auto cloner, will post pics and details when it's ready. Taking the idea from @Mikedin but scaling it way back. Lol smaller clones, smaller reservoir, smaller footprint.

No rooting hormone at all? Just snip and stick it in the cloner?I just run water, no additives. Run 24/7. I have never had a cutting fail.
cool!,,.
wish my girl would dance with me like this,.. she’s not into it,..
i love this girls moves,..
None. It’s actually kinda pointless in my experience. Some folks use clonex, powder you name it. I’ve always had success. No rooting hormone at all? Just snip and stick it in the cloner?
I have almost all the parts (kinda.. my version of the parts.) Looking like it'll cost me about $20 and a couple hours time.

Perfect! Dropping a bucket of cash on some hydro nutes would've slowed this down a bit. That rapidstart hydro stuff is pricey as hellNone. It’s actually kinda pointless in my experience. Some folks use clonex, powder you name it. I’ve always had success.
Back in the day, I ran cubes and shit. When these came out I grabbed a 36 port box. Never looked back. Some things that are available may really help, I just gave it a whirl one day, it worked everytime. I’m never in a rush to get cuttings out of the box.i have had them in there for up to a month with nothing bugging them But the weather. check water level daily to be sure the water line doesn’t expose any pump parts. They burn up if you let water even get a 5th of the way down the pump. Easy peasy.Perfect! Dropping a bucket of cash on some hydro nutes would've slowed this down a bit. I thought this morning I COULD go outside and map out my new 12 plant grow in the back acre in our 5" of snow.Good for you! i was a raver and clubber back in late eighties, early nineties as well as following the grateful dead around, so you know i got movesNow i cant help but picture GNick dancing with his ladies in the tent..
Egyptians used honey water.... honey has a natural rooting hormone as well....None. It’s actually kinda pointless in my experience. Some folks use clonex, powder you name it. I’ve always had success.
Look up clone king. Unless you want to stay on brand. But they run about $70I've been eyeing a cloner kit from AC Infinity that costs $90. I didn't see @Mikedin's DIY version. I've not done much cloning, so it's tempting to give it a try. I'm not sure what I'd do with more plants, though. Maybe I'll grow single-stem plants in the corners of my tents.
