That’s probably worth the price tag right there, never even occurred to me that those uv supplement chips would combat mold and mildew, but why wouldn’t they. SmartThanks guys... new light comes tuesday()... I know we talked about uv being a possible myth about trich production... however I'm more Interested in mold and mildew prevention than anything.... if we have another crazy summer like last year. (Northeast) I wanna see if UV will help kill off the molds and mildew that can wreck havoc on our grows... being indoors end of summer I lost a whole crop... I mostly blame Canadian wildfires for that tho...
Ok so here is a handy one for you, this is my style of curing jar. I prefer wide mouth ball jars. It’s nice because the lids are interchangeable with smaller jars. So a cheap pack of hygrometers, be sure that the temperature reading capabilities are located on the back or bottom of the device. Cut the lid cap for the hygrometer, and putty in with artist clay. I use that because I can pop the hydrometer out of the lid with ease, if my crop is large I like to use them in the lids of larger sterilite bins as well. That makes them a non permanent fixture. I hope this gives some of y’all an idea or two. It’s nice staking them on their sides. It makes it easier to see if you have to burp them.![]()
