It gets 120 out here and you could cook meat on my front door. After a few years the foam becomes brittle and the adhesive fails. Depending on your temp yours will probably last longer than mine.

Yeah.....if you saw this back room, you'd understand.......

We don't own the house yet......we're almost in the contract mode where I would be able to do things without permission....

The landlord is really cool, but I've invested enough, tons actually, to make it decent inside.....

I'm just waiting until we own or get the contract in our name before I invest anymore loot in here.....

It’s tape on foam. Completely removable and costs less than a meal at fast food joint.

Hey man I'll be back around in a couple weeks...I'm trying to win some seeds and a light and it requires me to be on fb more than anything else. So my social batteries are like drained af if you know what I mean. Thank you for everything my friend! 😃 can't wait to see the progress when I get all caught up.

Ok....my plans for expanding have been put on hold.....

After looking at what I have, I could add a little more room, but then I would be losing light efficiency......

So on that note........

Kratky Method.......

The little one I'm guessing never had enough of a feed level.....I brought it way up to about 3/4" from the tip-top of the solo......we'll see if it starts doing something......a side note......I moved some hydrodon/clay pebbles away and the root is still kicking......

The bigger one is impressing me.....I did not add or do anything.....

I think I'm going to keep it in this container for the duration of this experiment......we have a while before the flower area is cleared, so it's a guess whether I'll have to transfer to a bigger container.......

I wasn't expecting this experiment to grow like it has......I definitely had my doubts reading everything about this method......

But we're still early into it......

Been down the rabbit 🕳 an awful lot trying to see end results...

Either they don't make it to the end or they install airstones and pumps and everything else that makes it a non-Kratky Method of Hydroponics.....

Not on this thread!

My biggest concern if if makes it another month is the roots/ root ball and if when I switch to flower, will it be too much.....

I see hydro grows and their roots......fu@#ing massive......but also in a huge container......

Wow. Really got me thinking about aeration. I know the shape of a tank, as well as plant life in a fish take change the amount of disolved oxygen. Square or rectangle tanks have more oxygenated water because of the increased surface area. Maybe if you up pot put them in a square pot.

Also, aquatic plants... don't really know how it would work ina kratky since the rootzone wont have light for any aquatic plants down there to perform photosynthesis and eat up the CO2 and produce oxygen...i dont know. Just thinkin out loud

I love cloning. Bigger roots means larger plant. I wouldn’t stress that homie. As long as there is no rot occurring, more roots is a blessing.

Very awesome root system.....

I've never tried the pucks before......

The only way I get to see my roots from is if I water in a cup, window style.....it works most of the time.......I only do that with overflow clips.....

Or put the clone in medium with a clear solo......

I need to step out of the back in the day style growing.......

The new technology/ advancements that there is out there for growing this plant we love so much are awesome, yet kinda out of my league at the moment........

As always, I'm checking everyone's grow style/methods to possibly update mine.....it's the learning and finding new ways that I love so much.....
