Right!? I just cut the plant at the base with shears, dump the whole pot out, dig vigorously through the roots to inspect (they’ll refuse together quickly..) and then reconnect the plant to the trunk stub with a nail that has the head removed. Way easier...

Right!? I just cut the plant at the base with shears, dump the whole pot out, dig vigorously through the roots to inspect (they’ll refuse together quickly..) and then reconnect the plant to the trunk stub with a nail that has the head removed. Way easier, just MAKE SURE you do this method in the middle of the sleep cycle so she doesn’t actually know what’s happening..

I did this on last grow and two of the plants root ball separated in half. They both survived but two plants had a gangsta lean. Meaning when they flowered they plant itself would lean all over the place. When I dumped the pots
(just the trunk left)5/7 of them came out just like your video. Two ripped off the trunk from the root ball. Roots were not rotting. What would cause something it before the roots had colonized the pots well enough to hold together?
By chance did you it before the plant had colonized the pot with sufficient roots to hold together? Captains advise is perfect, but it’s probably wise to wait until the roots have established themselves in the pot pretty well first.

Exactly as he said. A large rootball came out just half of it didn’t. The second half just didn’t want to come out. The same two plants after harvest were the ones that left the entire rootball in when the trunk came out. Only difference was the rootball was in the pot.

My great grandmother had a slight British accent but was born in Virginia. Born in 1895 I guess there was some fresh British blood in there somewhere.
I’m in Va, where did she grow up? I find that early American stuff really interesting. I’ve heard that the folks living on an island in the Chesapeake still have a slight Elizabethan accent. Freaky.

I have done it even without it being fully colonized. I up pot plants all the time that don’t crumble. It’s making me think that the possibility is there that maybe he wasn’t watering the plants fully. Or the bottom portions that stayed in the pot, maybe got over saturated and the root zone didn’t fully penetrate from lack of air. Those 2 things is where I’m leaning….os this anywhere in the wheel house @Putthataway ?

It’s that uppity better than you. Why does the singer from green day a Southern California band who was born and raised in California sing with an English accent? Cuz they are all fake and British accent makes you sound smart and refined.

Well I am asking because I don’t know. Now that you mention lack of air I am thinking that could be it. When I cleaned the pots I determined that two pots didn’t have enough drainage holes in them and put more in. Not sure if those were the pots but that may explain it. They were also smaller holes vs. larger that may be able to hook the roots?

Here's a pic of her high school diploma I took a couple weeks ago, so I assume Urbanna. My mom inherited it from her daughter who passed away last year at 98. Graduated 1915.

She was a teacher in a Little House on the Prairie type school house and showed me pics of it when I was a kid. My mom should have those now as well since my aunt didn't have any kids to leave that kind of stuff to. Need to look into it.

If you're talking about Tangier Island in the Chesapeake, that's such a bizarre place. My grandfather used to take us there as a kid by plane. I don't remember much aside from it feeling like a ghost town with old rusty cars and shit just sitting there. I guess they have no way of scrapping stuff like that so it rots in the sea air.

I hate that feeling when I'm transplanting something and I feel the roots tearing when I'm taking the soil out :(

Sounds like that was probably the issue. Over saturation of the bottom half of the pot. Live and learn. You can always use more drainage holes homie. On the sides, under, all over them really.

I’ve got to get RID of a drum set, maybe make room for more grow tents :))

I’m happy with my ‘70 Slingerlands. I’ve got some Ludwig I’ve been trying to unload for like 4 years but I’m so picky about finding a good home for them..
I had a 50's Ludwig that My cousin gave me... he was actually rated as best drummer in state of Conn... like 20 years ago🤣... then I went up to a premier royal 7 piece set...

Had to get rid of them a long time ago...

I have same problem.... drums or grow

They have English Envy... I believe Green Day wanted to leave USA FOR ENGLAND
