Plant on the left was Topped and the plant from center was FIMMed. First attempt at this. Both are og kush photos. The topped plant was taller.

How did i do with is top and fimm job


Topped plant. End of the cut stem beaded up. Is this normal and any care needed to the cut end?

Where he fimm it will likely grow back the same way as it was before have to cut just the middle off like i put in my picture . Not all 3
And it was topped on a different pic .
I suggest never topping . Fim it and you will get many more tops and much faster .
Look at the growth on the post i put just one day it grew back ! Two more tops instead of one . And i can repeat the process on all the other branches . Then repeat it again and again if needed lots and lots of tops

Your using co2 everything is speeded up. Btw I really loathe it when folks say co2 bags are even worth looking at let alone using that was bad advice you gave that grower on crass city you made him believe they were he was new by the looks of it and easily influenced

What you should of said was no co2 bags are a total waste of money

They messed me up on my 1st grow. Then came here and got great knowledgable guidance 👍

See the large fan leaves on the topped plant? Under them seems to be a few large branches sprouting nodes like the top was.

Seems like I should trim those large fan leaves to open it up? What do you think?

I tried to do the FImm cut like the Debacco University utube vid. They had a pic showing where to cut.
The only thing is I’m not sure if I should have cut a little lower as mine was growing more vigorously at the top. I believe I cut thru the center of the middle most stem - I gather this is the most important one to clip.

First off i do not pick on people on here. If they used co2 bags and they had any results from them great . If not i would pass . I use natural gas for co2 . IDK if that grower was in a 2/2 tent ? in that situation that co2 bag may of helped . Who are you to say they are garbage ?
DId you place then in the same size area as that person ? Did you use a meter to measure the before and after ppm of co2 ?
im sure you would also say using sugar water and active yeast is a waste of time to make co2. Did you know a 5 gallon of bucket of water a bag of active yeast a 5 pound bag of sugar will produce co2 in a 4/4 tent up 1000 ppm in a few days if that tent is sealed . Im sure that is also a joke to you . Im sure using natural gas heater is also a is a joke for you to make co2 . GO buy a gen 10 burner generator for 350 bucks . Look at amazon reviews on those co2 bags . Some people use meters to measure the difference . Sure co2 bags make co2 they will work if your tent is sealed and small .

Did you do what i posted to you ? If so you did a excellent job . If your not sure just let it grow wait be patient . Post more pics back will help you . You cant hurt anything so no problems have fun

The Grass City link? No I left it as is today.
I really don’t trust Grass City from my previous experience.

Will probably clip some fan leaves on the topped plant. I’ll check how the Fimmed plant progresses this week.

First time doing any kind of top cutting. Some seem to be highly against topping and the added stress, but many others are successful with topping and it keeps the plant height under control.

I’ll be doing some light LST going forward and see how the two topping methods compare on the same strain.

That post on grass city is my post . Does not matter where you go there are people trying to help everywhere giving not such great advice Those pics in my post will help you very easy to understand from grass city

I did that before but know I fell the same result can be done with low stress training without losing bud sites

Also I woulda maybe not topped it so close to the lower branches it possiable when they get heavy it could split , so watch out for that peace out from the shire
