My guess is that they have had interference problems and inaccurate or chaotic readings in areas where digital have been used.

My Trimeter has been good to go for over 3 years operating 10 ft away from 6 - 600W Lumateks...FWIW.

good luck

I agree with sky high. Probablly EM interferance.

Sh - What tri meter do you have? It would be much easier to glance at a dispaly 2-3 times a day rather than have to take measurements..

yea i was wanting to get a continuous meter is that link a good one or you guys have better suggestion? im doing ebb and flow drip system 4x6 table two 600 watt hps two yield master II supremes

bro are you doing an ebb and flow or a drip setup? if you are doing both it is pointless ... both have their pros and cons its just up to you what suits you the best

lol nope just drip set up i guess its out of that or ebb and flow... god is trying to convince me DWC how ever this being my first dro set up i wanna keep it some what simple... and so far from what everyone says drip system is the way to go... even over flood and drain..

especially since i want to do a sog style and cut vege time down and maximize yield

I had the same prob with the Hanna Gro Chek meters about a year ago. Lumatek ballasts and the meters would calibrate fine and within hours be all over the place in the readings. Neither Lumatek or Hanna knew of any issues. I swore at the time it was the ballasts and nobody believed me. At least they're now aware of the issue. Anyone have anymore info about which meters are having probs? Different manufacturer? Thanks

ebb and flow is way easier to setup and IMO just as effective ... for a SOG ebb and flow makes much more sense unless you want to run 30 or so spaghetti lines to each block, ultimately the choice is yours but for ease of operation ebb and flow is the way to go

Just the standard Nutradip Trimeter... pH/ppm/temp

It definitely makes it easy to see what's up....

I bought a bottle of 7.0 Ph calibration solution and a bottle of 1500 ppm reference solution and keep them nearby so I can check calibration/etc. RARELY do I have to make any adjustments...and those are usually minor.

I've seen these for $150 new....ya just gotta search em out. Try nursery/greenhouse supply companies and even aquarium suppliers for better deals than in the hydro industry....

WOW i appreciate the info guys.. i been searching for a 4x6 table for some time now and the shipping on that damn thing was more expensive then the table itself... just hit gold though! found a company thats letting em go for $124.91 shipping included.. this is the best deal i have found so far...

Im searching the Meter to find a deal thx for the tip!

also i def want smooth operation how many plants can i fit under two 600 watters in yield master supremes? the room/tent will be portable a/c cooled and im going for the ebb and flow.. im guessing cocoa right?
