It’s true, I couldn’t agree more. We have just conditioned ourselves to think we need 8 our whole lives, come to find? Not everyone does.
And really, sometimes it doesn’t happen at all, I mean, I will put my feet up, but I rarely if ever achieve rem.

Question about this lower growth. I exposed it to light so it's doing a little something, but is it worth keeping it or removing it to focus more energy on the bigger tops? I don't know if it will ever level off with the highest.

In a trellis I keep that stuff. I just remove the most obtrusive leaves pointed towards the center of the plant, that are covering potential colas. I leave all outer growth for the most part, I will remove fans if they are stacked on each other too. Other than that, what seems low now, with some choice defole, in stretch they will be topside of that net quick.

I've been trying to keep up with defoliation but see a few more I should scrap.

Another thing I’m going to suggest is trying to not to pick at your plants daily. If you can do it in batches. Some strains can be wily so it doesn’t always apply and all but it is prolonged stress for your plants. It will constantly be spending energy to heal all the tiny wounds, which kinda defeats the purpose of a defol in a way, and I also like to give my plants at least two weeks after and pruning or leafing to ensure any present stresses are in the rear view while the plant changes gears for flower. It’s a method I use to fend off possible herm traits.

I'm with both of you, I keep trying to find a solution to staying asleep longer but nothing yet really works. I got 4 hours of decent sleep last night.
You're right though Just, I get more shit done before most people even get up!

So in NY State if you don't sleep between the hours of 10p and 4am... the state claims it opens up for a plethora of disability issues....

Legit calm storm soundtracks help me out with it from time to time. It’s not so bad until the lack of sleep inevitably catches up with you. Cranky, belligerent, short tempered sometimes the soothing sounds of storms are nice.

Sorry to hear, americas health system is not user friendly. It fucking sucks for the folks who do t have the luxury of state supplied medical plans. I hope he gets the help he actually needs sooner than later 👊🏻🤡
