That's actually what I had in mind next run. Mixing my own peat soil perlite mix. I seen Bilber makes his own medium. So I'm gonna figure out how to make my own.
Seriously. Nooot every bag is that baller fluff but 80% of the time it is. So friggin light and airy. So if your felling froggy next time you up pot, toss a full freshly opened 2cube bag into a tote that can fit it all. Cover that bitch for a day and check it the next day. It’s the most active soil I’ve ever friggin used right out the bag. It had a proper colony of good shot growing in no time. I did it by accident one night, blew my mind.

Well more of a healthy colony of microbes from fungus sources. You generally don’t want mushrooms growing out of your medium, that means you are not allowing the plant to dry out before water again until it actually seeds pinning viable mycelium. That no bueno.
