Pull soil in against the stalk from outer pot to cover root ball and give it a little water, top it up asap, will be OK.

Just cover the root and the bottom of main stem. Should be okay for 1 day just with that, however I can't see the exposure on the photo so can't tell how bad it is, but mainly you need to cover the root from the light exposure that's crucial.
