Thanks for all the replies.✌️

I had the feeling their are many misconceptions about Lightning while i read through the Material but couldnt really filter the out the "truth". Many Companies/Manufactures made -from my perspective- rather bold claims and thats where my geeky brain kicks in and want to understand the principle/science behind it to understand whats really going on and whats just bs marketing which im worring more and more about the more i read in here. (Also the reason im worrying about getting Lights with add. IR Ligtning). And to be honest it also peeked my interested and its something i just find Interesting to think about not for "min maxing" but just generall and maybe geeky curisosity.

Ultimatly im not looking for the Top-notch Light out there, nor do i want a cheap China Clone with a possible fire hazard.
But some Inexpensive Light in regards to Money spend per yield gained and not something ill regret buying 1 yr down the line.

My Friend owns a ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro which seem pretty solid and i prob would have gone for that already if i didnt want to go for a 3x3 Tent and started to get into the nitty bitty of lights. And thats where the whole "Drama" started Im just kinda complementing/conflicted buying something i dont understand or having seen in action myself.

I keep getting told that im worrying about it to much and thats probably true, but spec. looking at the Light Spectrums from the Lights i kept considering there the differences just seem to different/big to just set it aside. Or is it just really too small of a marging even if the peaks are in a different range ?

Im truly gratefull to you all for getting into some details aswell as sharing some pictures 🫵 👍.

300W to 500W is what you want for a 3x3

500W models will usually offer a more even coverage on tent border than 300W, but you may not use them 100% close to the plants

i linked spider farmer leds but all brands i linked earlier have some equivalences

I can think of no better reason than curiosity.

Your curiosity may only be satisfied completely by growing a crop completely.

I would really love to but thats keeps cycling me back to the start, I would either need a Light that lets me controll the different Spectrums or get 2 different Lights.

I keep getting back to the ViparSpectar KS3000 but its Light Spectrum is different from the other Lights im cycling around, heres what it looks like:
1706992752625

Comparing that to say the Phlizon PH-B6 that was mentioned before:
1706992936159

Thats looks like a big difference to a newbie like me even letting aside the UV and IR Ranges.

So would there be a big noticeable difference between those two Spectrums or is it just marginal differences?

You can't go wrong with ViparSpectra. The KS-3000/5000's are about the best 3X3 and 4X4 light fixtures out there. LM301H diodes, and excellent build quality. I sold off all my SF/Mars lights and filled my room with KS-5000's. I ran a couple of Phlizon's before, but the LM281 diodes in the FD-4500's were killing my efficiency OCD. The build quality fit n finish was meh as well. They did grow great cannabis.

I also run Flexstars. They are the sister company with Vivosun. Great build quality, top bin LM301B diodes. Check out their Pro Series.

I like the 100.000 hrs lifespan.

Yeah.... That would be close to 10 years @ an AVG 14hrs/day 365 days/year lol. I'm happy with a solid 5 years.
I bought my ks3000 without knowing it was a high end light. I didn't like viparspectra because I only seen there square style lights. Phlizon wouldn't accept my credit card. Spiderfarmer wouldn't accept. Ks-3000 was in my price range I bought it without even looking at it. Viparspectra accepted my card. I'm glad I stumbled onto it now tho

here are a few of the most used and rather cheap LED brands

spiderfarmer , viparspectra , phlizon , HLG , mars hydro you can find more LED manufacturer here:

then it's about what area you want to flower.
I like vipraspectre personally

I researched light after I bought it. That what they claim there lights last. It is built well.

For some reason... and I'm not exactly sure why... I want to say... If you spends over 0.50 a watt. ( thats 50 cents ) you gots robbed.. or.. your giving to your favorite charity... or.. just want to help somebody else's wallet other that your own... or.. done finished burning a bud... and want's to burn money... sorry maybe I gots ocd

ofthand I'd say go with something like: "most used and rather cheap LED brands"

marginal difference with the end product. Compare the spectrum to HPS and see it's a lot different than LED still you get great results with them as well.

what ACSippi said:

"Straight up, keep it simple. You're already making it complicated by flying into the web of unnecessary LED specifics. What you really should be looking for is a popular cheap light that many are using. Avoid the debates about them, people just like bumping their gums,"

You'll get awesome buds with the KS3000 no worry. even without 730nm led and less power trough 660nm led than other brands ...

here's a list of grows diaries of people growing with the KS3000 if you want to see the results.

each brand will have their own tweaks regarding the spectrum, or led layout or etc., and each brand will claim their tweaks are the best ...
