Yes, 100 time yes! I hate because they clearly bite some of the greats, but to see kids trying to really rep hiphop is life!@Dadman86 @2Water @MartyMcFly42oh

A Boston native, rest in peace guru!! Yes I have deep underground roots my friend. I have had the privilege of hanging out with Dj premier, one of my childhood friends who I started Djing with in the mid nineties chased his dreams and caught them, he’s produced for some of the legends, but he introduced me to KRS ONE, at a show in Cambridge one night and credited me as the one who first exposed him to BDP. I’ve always had a deep respect for any artist who doesn’t hold themselves high on a pedestal and recognizes love of their art as a shared experience. This transcends into other art forms that I’m into as well. Flyfishing and fly tying brought me to a new chapter in my life and I was able to meet a few personal heroes and get that same respect, and I believe that is true with cannabis too. Love and respect for the art and craft will always bring you further than you can imagine.I used to go see the roots at the troc In Philly for $4 when they were Phillies best kept secret. Jedi minds tricks 1 of them was from upper Darby, my dad’s hometown.
But gatdamn bro. You know about them deep cuts. What up blackalicious and jazzmatazz?
Guru was incredible.

I just wish I could visit the farm they are made at. If I could just examine the strain still on the stalk, that would tell me everything……I want this entire catalog and the space to grow it, I too believe that over hybridization has gotten too far from the original smoke of yesteryear. It’s almost impossible to prove, but I think I got a lot higher back in the mid to late nineties smoking stuff that most of us would pass on these days.
