Why in today's society do we have to idolize being "street" or "gangster?" I lived through gang life in Cali in the 90s. The most gangster thing is to be respectful and mind your business. That's it, lol. I have this talk with my kids on the regular, so excuse the lecture😜

Nip was different, homie really did put his loot into improving his block. Tangible shit that is still there and will remain. Not too big on his music. Beats nowadays aren’t the same. But nipsey, I respect.

No doubt, I love Nip. But the whole mentality that we have to be hard and street is not necessary. Building your community and trying to bring economic advancements...100%

I grew up in frog town st Paul. Me and my brothers were the only family that wasn't black or Hmong. They used to call us white boys. I'm a darker Indian my brother is lighter. Now I don't consider myself a gangster or from the streets. But growing up in that street world molded me into a more how do I say this harder person. I wouldn't change it though I learned fast and young. My kids don't have it nobody has ever taught them mean. I wouldn't move my family back to the cities. I've lost all the mannerisms and ways of talking tho. Im a different creature now I've evolved.
