Hey everybody. Thinking about buying an AC infinity 6” fan with an 8” AC infinity charcoal filer for better smell control. Has anyone tried this with decent results? Or am I over here trying to re invent the wheel? Thanks!!!

Ideally you want to have the same size... I have had to do 6inch filter to 4inch fan before... but ideally you want to stick with same size....filter will be inefficient

@BearWater , the bigger filter won't give you better filtration, but might make it last longer. Really it all comes down to your cfm or cubic feet per minute. If you push air through too fast, not efficient. Also, these charcoal filters don't like humidity or dust. Keep a clean filter cover handy and replace them often
