I was watching some Smokey Okies vimeo videos on flowering week by week. They recommend a heavy defoliation a week after flipping to 12/12 (flowering week 2), then another at week 4.

I guess I'll trust that? I've heard a lot of people say wait 21 days after flipping. I'm 5 days in and holy shit they need it. A solid sheet of leaves from wall to wall. I'm seriously thinking I may have to thin out some bud sites since they'll be so packed together and only keep the sturdiest stalks. I'll see how they look at week 4.

Not sure how most people do it but yeah. Probably should have flipped 2 weeks ago.

Gotta do what ya gotta do. Many prefer to wait to reduce early flower stress/herm risk.

If you know the genetics are strong, and well stabilized, go for it

Yeah, I'm not sure if Smokey Okie's grows with fem or regular seeds. That was my concern with doing it at week 2. I may not have much choice though.

I just finished up my first grow. I was in the same boat as you, I feel your pain and uncertainty brother!

It's definitely a learning experience. When I tried this years ago I just cloned a bag seed female and stuck them in a closet with a fan and a blower to exhaust it into my brother's bedroom closet next door lol. No training, no idea what the temp or humidity was, etc.

Honetly though If you have a Dremel Tool laying around, i would get a Saw bit for it generally less than 10 bucks for a set of multiple ones sometimes with other stuff in it aswell. If not personally i would prob just grab a Foxtail saw and wreck right through it - Not a Fan of those cordless tools myself but i wont be the one telling you not to get them and have some fun with it

I know a few dudes that could help, I have a tendency to pull a certain type of weirdo into my stratosphere, a couple of these homies really just need a friend from time to time. I kick it with the dude who likes wearing other people’s faces the most. He’s the closest to the moon so we kick it on the reg.
The one cat is emo as fuck. Rip a few joints he loosens up to get a grip. You’ll have dinosaur bushes for some reason.
The last cat has a predisposition for whiskey.
He talks to himself a lot. It’s like there are other folks hanging out with us. He can swing a mean axe though. Has a strange obsession with olive oil from the popeye movie. That chick was a bit haggard for my liking.
