The red diodes are on a separate dial and according to the light manufacturer should already be on. What’s all your thoughts, especially @Captspaulding since you have been advising me to lighten up the light? I have done everything you asked I don’t want to fuck up things. If I need to take the up any further that exhaust and filter would need to come out.

Absolutely you can start ramping up the red some. Plants love that shit in flower

Idk with my light and most I've seen the reds can't be controlled separately so are always on. Considering some people use those blurple lights that are red af throughout the whole grow it shouldn't matter if they're always on?

Tomorrow will be 21 days since flip. I've been giving them 1/4 grow and 3/4 bloom nutrients for over a week. I guess it's time to give straight bloom?

I think I brought this up here but I've heard a bunch of different recommendations on this. Some switch to straight bloom nutes as soon as they flip which is what AN seems to recommend in the feeding chart (don't 100% trust these charts) and others wait until after the stretch is done. I'm not sure how much it really matters.

I need to get in there tomorrow and thin everything out. Shogun didn't stretch as much as the other strain which I figured so I'll probably cut the net, raise the whole plant a few inches, then put a new net on top.

Happened to me last run, I had one plant double and the other didn't stretch at all.

Yes and no, the amount of red light in an always on light, has to be dictated by height and light penetration. Need more red? Drop the light ect….

Heads rolled. It’s was a bloodbath. 😂
70 sprouts so far. Lotsa babies.
Everything in veg just got the last round of topping. I’ll pin them back out in a week and let them heal and stretch. Then I’ll start harvesting a bit and move them into the bunker. I’m gonna have my hands full 🤡
With fat spliffs and plant chores I guess too.

I've been meaning to ask you about your lights. Your buds always look on point even at different heights. Have you checked the ppfd of the lowers? Just curious what that is.

Also what's your watering routine like? I mean, do you go through every day and pick up each pot, then keep a record of which pot was watered? I'm still tossing around the idea of converting that room. Working from home time isn't an issue. lol

The only time I check ppfd is when I’m laying out lights on my grow space. And from time to time if someone asks me. Right now everything in flower last I checked is a 2000 ppfd and they are loving it. But dli, vpd and ppfd I don’t need. I just read the plants and adjust accordingly. In the flower room generally anything 3g and up is every 4th day feed, always with nutes. Never straight water.
The 1gs get fed every 2 days. Never more than that in full flower. I do check them daily just in case though…..

I’ve adopted your watering every 4th day routine and it’s totally awesome. I’ll never go back..
