I’ll keep this rant short, but congress can eat shit. Bunch of self serving assholes who are elected to perform a public service and most of them could care less about doing their jobs. They’re always going to vote for whoever throws the most money their way. The scariest thing going on right now is this desire to reschedule cannabis, all this would do is give the pharmaceutical companies with their endless supply of money control over a natural plant. At the same time people who use cannabis without the sanction of a medical card would go from misdemeanor criminals to felons. Because schedule 3 drugs require a prescription. I haven’t heard any of these politicians mention that. Why? Because they’re in it for the money and the pharmaceutical companies have already bought them.

I visited Tennessee last August and we all know how the Appalachian states were pioneering the art of moonshine and bootlegging, well apparently they have the local outlaws down there convinced that cbd and thca, delta 8,&9 are acceptable alternatives to the real McCoy, pun intended. It’s fucking sad. Sure doesn’t help when the mandatory minimum fine is $5000 for possession and jail time. The kid at one of those cbd stores cued me into the whole thing. I really felt bad for them, wanted to give the kid some real weed, but wasn’t taking the risk so far from home.
