My last grow was C99 x White Truffle from Brothers Grimm and they ended up smelling and tasting like sandalwood and nagchampa. The overall volume of the aromas are fairly low but the profile overall was one of the best I’ve ever experienced.

Took the mrs to Hobart today for doc appointment called into the Great Lake on the way home one of my fav spots in Tas reminds me of being a kid the old man used to take me up there fishing a lot as a youngin good day apart from the mrs being stabbed heaps by the doc👍

Trustfall’s Red Velvets, 80 days old. Totally retrained/reshaped, pruned and pinched back today. Hoping to squeeze a solid 10 more days of veg in. I expect them to about double in overall growth by that point..

Bwhaha that's my kind of tent! Love it so sticky it will be awesome in flower, let's see the flowers soon!
Great training and pretty healthy plants.
I’m a new grower, this is some of Trusts Tokyo I pulled a day or so ago ✌️

Holy grail, congratz on this pull with those beautiful frosty buds, you made all right! Let's hear how you describe the taste when dried.

I'm noticing both my grow and bloom nutrients have 4% nitrogen. Grow A 1%, Grow B 3%, and Bloom B 4%. Advanced Nutrients Sensi coco.

I've got about a month of flowering left and have been trying to get these nutes dialed in. Aside from burnt tips which aren't terrible yet, there's some clawing, especially on one plant. Some of the newer leaves are kind of shiny, so it's probably nitrogen toxicity.

How tf do you reduce nitrogen in bloom when the bloom nutrients have just as much nitrogen as grow? I've cut way back on nutes for a while until the runoff PPM is lower to help with the nute burn. Ordered one of those Aquaticlife RO filters, which I should have done 2 months ago.

I have a feeling I wasn't giving them enough runoff throughout the grow so nutrients built up in the coco. The buds themselves look fine so far. Hopefully I can get everything right and the yield won't suffer.

Can't wait for the second grow, bringing in everything I've learned from this one.

Just for reference, the top left has the worst clawing.

Any chance this level stunt bud growth? Man I just want to get this grow done and smoke this shit.

Your bloom nutes shouldn’t have the same N as ya grow if they do change nutes they need a lot of nitrogen for first couple weeks of flower (stretch) then dial back the N but don’t take it out completely I know Fkn confusing it’s cause I’m smashed😂👍 hope it makes some kind of sense mate nice nugs though man👍

Now when ya run out of the good stuff n ya gotta drink the mrs piss😂😂 last post from me legends everyone asleep here n I gotta behave😂😂😂👍 like that’s ever gunna happen well this is the train wreck thread n that’s what I am 🍺🤡 I come from the land down under 😂

I've got questions, if you don't mind. 🙂
Someone posted a link to an article about the effects of ethylene gas on seedlings. I'd like your take on it. Thanks.
I’m on it.

Excess nitrogen can ruin your smoke, make it harsh and gross. If that is the source of your clawing then stop nitrogen all together until the end.

That would mean switching to a different brand for bloom nutrients, and the calmag has some nitrogen in it. I mean I could. Not sure how it would interact with what's already in the coco. If it is the nutrients themselves rather than buildup/overfed it's crazy AN could get the bloom part so wrong.

Sorry I couldn't back track to find it myself but I'm at work, what nutes are you using, what medium?

Advanced Nutrients sensi coco in coco. It has A&B parts for both grow and bloom. The grow part was fine and they grew super fast. Switching to bloom is when the nute burn and now clawing appeared.

The PPM of my runoff was high also, around 2000. I never put in over 1000 PPM nutrients. I was using 850 PPM in veg and I thought bloom was supposed to be higher. Was going slightly under the feeding chart.

I am a dry amendment guy so I refer you to @Captspaulding , but i typically hear them say to use half strength nutes to start to get a feel

Yeah I probably went in too hard with the bloom, or wasn't doing enough runoff. Maybe both. Luckily it isn't affecting all the leaves yet. It's like each branch has a mind of its own.
