We learned about this sort of thing in high school, it was in science class and our teacher ensured us that this went on in the town west of us. Along with incest and mutilated offspring. That same teacher supposedly got caught with the other science teacher trying to synthesize lsd in the 70’s and some how they both were still employed 20 years later. The guy was like permanently geeked out like he was on coke or speed would call out students for farting in class but then blame the barking wall spiders and mud ducks. My grandparents use to cross the Mexico/California border for the day and get the cheep “heartworm” pills (it was antacids), makes me wonder how much actual heart worm medication they consumed over the years

Never really worried about that unless the chlorination is so bad it’s leaving residue on leaf surfaces and on the walls. Otherwise normal mineral build up is what it is.
