Anyway water level was the main reason I set up a dutch bucket type system. At times, I need my system to be 100% automatic for several days.

I have a mark inside my tote that reflects about 1 inch under my pots.
I fill to there and then let it drop 2 inches which is approximately 5 gallons, then top up as it goes.
Really only goes quick mid flower at 5 gallons every 2 days.

Will be leaving for a week for holidays, will add float valve and another tote for that episode.
Might need 10-15 depending.

It’s to keep the amount of Gibberellins from increasing to a point of flower happening.

By my calculations I will have saved 210 light hours by tomorrow .

Win win in my books and the growth rate seems spoton.

The beginning of day 3.

Ec 1.3 and ph of 5.9 humidity is low 60’s and the temps 82ish.

Water drops slowly. Ph doesn’t change
( unless I’m changing a larger volume) then I would fight a ph drop for a few days and then it would stop.

After further review my ec pen was out of calibration and I have slightly burned some tips.

Don’t think it’s damaged much but more of a push. So will back it down a bit and keep rolling.

End of day 21.

They look great man! The tip burn must be very subtle because I can barely see it, I just see plants enjoying the light. Coming along nicely!

Oh buddy! Im building what you have. I may seek you advise as i assemble my hydros. Also things like bucket husbandry and nute levels during your grow could be clutch info for us aspiring hydro growers.
