I’m aware of the windburn on these plants, having trouble with high temperatures in my lung room due to an old ac unit that needs to be replaced, so I’m running a couple fans in the tent higher than I normally would just to keep it below 90 degrees. I’m hoping that these ladies hit their stride pretty soon, the LSD is probably the only one at this point that has responded well to the LST. Its lower branches are taking off. She’s going to be fun to train. I’m hoping to see more of a response from the others after today’s session. View attachment 2181663
Like the pots, what is your mix?

wow the p express. She's a lanky lady aint she?

Like the pots, what is your mix?
The black ones have equal parts peat moss, earthworm castings and silica enhanced perlite with build a soil craft blend and a four week cycle of 12 seed cover crop that was chopped and dropped prior to transplanting like two weeks ago.
The tan pots are fabric with a 3/4 length plastic liner, they hold water longer those are from build a soil made by grassroots. Those are 1/3 recycled rinsed and rebuffered coco choir 1/3 earthworm castings, and 1/3 pumice stone, amended with Gaia Green veg and bloom 2:1. Then I did cover crop for a month before transplanting.
The middle one is 1/3 coco 1/3 silica enhanced perlite and 1/3 ewc. In a 2 gallon fabric pot. That’ll be fed Neptune’s harvest organic line of bottled nutrients, which is somewhat new to me, I’ve used their kelp extract line for a couple years as a way to fight heat stress (also why I started using silica) but the other two are new to me.

She had a rough start, didn’t think she’d pull through but couldn’t kill her, she’s old bag seed. I’ve grown PE five times out of those seeds and I’ve seen 5 different phenotypes. The most recent two definitely show signs of mutation. I waited for that one to show pistols before transplanting. Her sister is the opposite of lanky, she stopped growing after the first set of true leaves and eventually had growth coming out of where the cotyledons were. Truly bizarre looking plant.

Yeah, leave the autos to grow. I've read about topping them once maybe twice but that plant better be growing like a beast. Grow a few and once you feel comfortable and have got a beast auto give it a go. On a lark I wouldn't cut it.

I've grown 100's of autos, bred them, even crossed one to a GDP regular. I've never topped one, for what it's worth.
Perfect, exactly what I wanted to hear

I have full range of motion with only a tiny bit of pain!

On a cranky note, too many jackasses filming themselves being jackasses these days and now I can't find my 20 year old funny videos behind all these jackasses😡

Growbros check out the roots on this Special Queen #1 from Royal Queen Seeds. She drank 2 gals of solution in 36hrs and just in late veg. I'm flipping the tent this weekend cause she's getting big fast. He'll the roots are taking up the 5 gal bucket. I'm going to have some fun keeping the bucket full in flower. I may have to make a backup gravity
reservoir with 2 5gal buckets, silicon and airline hose.

The largest root mass of any DWC I've done so far.
