We’ve got a couple of pretty small glass bowls that we smoke out of. They seriously need to be cleaned or replaced.

Any tips on how to clean them out really well so I can taste my weed again?

Or should I just replace them?

highest proof isopropyl you can get from 70% and up soak for a while than might have to rub scrub off too,..

if in a hurry put them in a bowl of rubbing alcohol that covers the pipes about half way. Stick that in the mocrowave and watch em. stop it when the alcohol starts to boil.

Def open windows and dont light any joints lmao. Carry the bowl outside and carefully dump the alcohol and then take the pipes to the sink and rinse.


If need more beyond that (there may be loose chunks) you can boil the bowls, and avoid making your entire house stink of resin now. Itll smell a bit funky when it comes out the microwave, but nothing like boiling pipes.

Some people also add salt to the alcohol mix as an abrasive.

Add some chunky sea salt if you have it. Acts an agitator when you shake it up.

Probably does. I can get a 10” glass bong factory fresh in less than 10 mins tho

I clean bongs with 90% alcohol and salt. I add around 2 or 3 tablespoons of salt down the neck of the bong and then follow with some alcohol. I plug all the holes with my fingers and shake the shit out of it. Works great!

I was 16 and at my dad’s house and did this in his kitchen! It stunk up the whole house, I freaked because at this time my dumbass still thought my dad had no clue I was doin what I was doin, and I thought I was going to get busted! Hahaha! Got the house aired out enough, Im sure my high ass couldnt smell it and my dad didnt care : ) my pipe was super clean though!!! It works very well : )
