We’ve got a couple of pretty small glass bowls that we smoke out of. They seriously need to be cleaned or replaced.

Any tips on how to clean them out really well so I can taste my weed again?

Or should I just replace them?

Use isopropyl and salt, just rinse very very well after

You may need 0000 steel wool with lacquer thinner. Put out the cigarettes and work outside.

Oh for sure, when I roll it in veg it’s 25 grams mega per 10 gallons
Then 50 grams in flower mega then 10 grams sweet candy and 10 grams kelp.

My plants have been crazy happy about the stuff.

I would have to agree, much cleaner to work with.
I would def give it a shot again. It fucking blows my mind in all honesty.

So you use this regime from about 3 weeks to finish? I will be mixing in 20 gal or larger at a time and have a spare coffe grinder as I heard this a bit hard to mix, if this is correct I am good to go, thanks.

Damn. Sorry to hear. In the language of my people of sunny so cal: that's no bueno. I have numbness in the top of my right foot besides the occasional discomfort part of life. Never figured I'd live this long, seriously. I'm very grateful that I have the ability and knowledge to make some of our own medicines. To be able to rub my wife's feet and within 10 minutes stop the burning pain is beyond wonderful. Just to take my mind off the pain is enough sometimes. This plant, always a favorite since that first puff 1974 I've been a fan but last half dozen years I've realized just how good it is for me. And then there's CBD.

I totally understand those who want to keep their tolerance low and keep their heads sharp. Lived it for decades. No puffing until after work. Just the way it was. Today whether it's 5AM or noon I'm looking to spark up something and feel better

I’ve never been to work without being high, okay maybe a few times, but I’m a big sativa fan for that reason alone. If I was smoking Indica on my way to work in the morning I’d probably turn around and go back to bed most days. Somehow sativas give me the push I need to just get the job done and power through everything. Hence that 90’s term for being extremely high aka Powered

Does salt not dissolve in alcohol?

Not if its over 70%. not really. Its the water dissolving the salt more then it is the alcohol.

Itll last in 91% for days and stay granulated, idk the chemical mechanism of action, but yea, it lasts a long time in alcohol.

You can keep it from dissolving in water too, just use a lot, there is a sodium saturation limit with most solvents. It's probably just super low with alcohol.

Btw dont clean a bowl with Ethyl alcohol, use isopropyl. the outside surface will stay sticky afterward a lot worse with ethyl. It converts some of the plant fats and tannins into simple sugars, and it also cant dissolve as much of the pipe residue before becoming inert as a solvent.


Theres also this liquid solvent stuff called forumla 420 too. Its a little pricey, but you can reuse it several times. It has silicates in it for abrasives and itll clean even the grossest acrylic plastic bongs. Years ago it was acetone based but i dont think it is anymore. I imagine in 2024 its something less volatile and flammable lol.

If you dont mind the risk involved, you can clean your glass with straight acetone. Itll clean em up in like 15 mins. If it gets sparked it makes a much more chaotic situation then rubbing alcohol though lmfao. Fair warning. Its just flammable, not explosive, but it makes a much larger, faster moving, hotter burning flame then alcohol does. But at least you can see it... (If alcohol catches fire in sunlight, the flames are 100% invisible lol.)

Take 90% isopropyl alcohol, some coarse salt and a drop of dish detergent in a ziplock bag and submerge the pipe in the mix, seal the bag and shake it like a British nanny, then shake it some more. Open the bag retrieve the pipe and rinse clean with tap water. Repeat if necessary or clean second pipe. It’s important to trap a little air in the bag before sealing it so that the pipe can move around while shaking.

In 2 hours I've got to install a toilet and a bath sink then go replace a pressure regulator. I've medicated this morning with a few bt's of G.M.O. as in OMG I'll be taking a cap made from a 30% THC plant Sarsparilla, GMO x Pure Michigan and I'll knock both jobs outta the park 'cause I've been doing this so long I could do it in my sleep and I have a tolerance and won't be all F'ed up.

I worked a sativa leaner for years of Chemdog x Brutis OG for daytime smoke and even sativa autos but always come back to the dark side of indica. I need the pain relief and relax tight muscles.
