Hey whoever I sent those seeds to that got snagged, they were deemed mailable. Which I knew. But they gotta be ridiculous. Regardless you have some kick ass seed packs coming. 👊🏻🤡

The only other fasciated plant ive had, was the very last time i grew in TN outdoors years ago. Is like a 1 in 10,000 mutation. Funny how things work sometimes.

Now i know ill have some seriously steep competition, but im coming for that October POTM contest.

Fasciated plants like to do stuff like this come flower 😈 😍

Flat stalk and weird looking top what is this doing and what does it mean

Another thing you can do with fasciated branches, is top them, and in a couple weeks have like 20-40 clones ready to take.

They tend to have a giant fat flat stem right inside the top bud, but they are a wild, and strangely beautiful thing to see flower.

In the cacti and succulent world, we call Fasciation cresting, for obvious reasons, and its highly prized and sought after. I call em coral cacti.

It's getting super flat.

ive had a clone do this before, and a few seeds here and there. the clone started off normal then had the flat stem. like half way through flower just randomly started with a flat stem. dont have a clue what caused it, but the clone came from a flowering plant.👍 had another seed plant like it to but that had the double flat headed buds. big yielding.

Fasciated buds get MASSIVE and look crazy. They have a giant stem in them, but they look really cool. Hoping this one doesnt terminate before flower. Ive never had one fasciate from birth before. It started life as a trifoliate, and it terminated trifoliate growth after the very first node with a fasciated internode shoot. And that fasciated shoot is still the biggest, most vigerous part of the plant. My last fasciated cola was brobably 5 inches thick.

Im def taking a clone from that branch to grow out inside.

looks awesome the 3 leafs like a clover, be interested to see if you can clone the top there. 👍

Im letting that branch continue growth til flower. I got plans for that October POTM contest. Just sewed a bunch of night-flowering Angel trumpet daturas in the backsplash of that plant lmao. They open just before sunset too 😍 (im kidding really, i just like taking the pretty photos come fall lmao, and daturas keep cats away, they keep coming up under the hedges from a trailer park bout a mile away and shitting at my plot)

Im going to take the clone from one of the probably 40 shoots this branch is gonna spit out, and just hope it shows some fasciation down the line.
