Really easy to make your own, just need parchment paper, a flat iron press, and a clamp, preferably with a quick release.
Make a little pocket out of parchment paper that’s a little smaller than the surface area of the flat iron press, put a bud in the parchment paper and close the press, then clamp tight while the press is on, hold for about a minute and then release. The flattened bud can be tossed away or saved for edibles. The trichomes will have melted onto the parchment paper and will look like syrup. They can be collected with a clean paper clip and will stick to themselves as long as they don’t get too warm. That’s it, really easy way to make your own dabs. Probably a video or two on YouTube that’ll demonstrate the process if you’re interested.

I personally own a couple of irons and while they work it's slow going. I purchased a cheap heat press a couple years ago, tried it once and didn't get much more than the hair straightners🤣 so the damn thing has been sitting in the garage since. I plan to break it out and see how much I can make this fall after main harvest😉

We found Chris at the store the other day🙃

I need a hobby to keep my mind occupied while i wait for the last of my build
A local illegal dispensary was giving out dab hits one day and I walked outta there higher than a fking kite. I ❤ dabs.
When i went to disneyland last year i went to one of these dispos. It was so seedy and awesome. Buy so much and get a few dabs at the bar. I left ripped!

I’ve got a 10,000lb press with heat plates and I’ve learned a few things over the years since it was gifted to me.
1: certain strains are better for smoking vs pressing and vice versa.
2: the ambient temperature of the room you press in, or collect your rosin in affect the ease of collecting. The colder the room the easier it is to get the rosin off the parchment
3: there’s good parchment paper and then there’s bad parchment paper, spend a little extra on the good stuff
4: Dabs almost always trigger my gag reflex and make me puke, so I always stand up for dabs and try to be close to a trash can, sink or toilet.
5: different temperature and press times can yield different results.
6: butane torches can become air bound, sometimes you have to bleed the air out of the torches prior to refilling them.
7: the hotter the rig the harsher the hit, find the sweet spot and enjoy.😉

I bought a premier box of wax paper on Amazon (and no, I'm not a rep🤣) that I've been using to make tacos

We take our tacos very seriously🤪

I believe if I play with this one a bit I'll figure it out. I've got some small 90's bags. I'm pretty good at figuring stuff out. I bought a pair of oven gloves to use with hair irons. The thing for me is I don't own a rig. I've made plenty of glass pipes and can make another and I may. Vaping it works and that's what I'd figure I'd be doing but ya gotta do small hits🤣🤣🤣 so you don't puke. I may buy a Volcano someday. I'd never leave the patio🤣 so maybe not.

Excellent list my friend🤗

Hey Plumber,

I’ve considered making my own tacos with that press like yours. But I figured it might too much work.

What you say? Can’t be that difficult, water corn meal maybe lard. And a press. I’ll bet though the tacos taste is delightful.

Mexican friends have told us if we had a Taco truck they'd eat there 4 of 5 days a week. We seriously do up the tacos and we pronounce them long A, tA-cOs long O😉

We deal with an irrigation company from time to time, not often, maybe a couple times a year as we don't really do any irrigation work as I'm not FUCKING DIGGING ANYTHING🤬 but again on occasion... everyone at the counter is Mexican decent and all speak it. We took them a giant bowl of salsa and 4 lg bags of chips and they still mention it 4 years later when those crazy grimgos come to visit🥰 I make tacos (long A long O) like their grandma use to make. The salsa, picante really is outta bounds good. Give me a spoon and get out the way😍

Every once in a great while we make ground beef tacos, no seasoning just like our moms made🤣 but still good stuff. We usually use beef Tri-tip or London Broil BBQ'ed each side for flavor, 35-55 minutes in a pressure cooker. Shread meat add a Jalapeno green sauce.😍😍😍

Do IT! But get a good cast iron press. The cheap ones don't work well. Yellow corn, non gmo mesa. Night and day tastewise.

Hey @Captspaulding

So, haymeadow Purps, cant find anything about this one anywhere.

Is it an indica or sativa leaner? Strain/Race/F1? Any known phenos to avoid or look for? trying to figure out if i wanna pop any for indoors, or save them for outdoor runs, or if i wanna try and go for a male from them this season.

All good if ya got nothin on em either, i like surprises too.

Plumber,

Done. Thanks very much. Spent loads of time in restaurants, dishes, waiting tables, etc. nothing beats the real thing.

HOLD IT!,

What is that today filling? Have you ever made beef short rib tacos?

Zill.
We've used beef, pork and chicken, all parts except no chicken feet🤣 I jest but seriously. Ribs rock, pork too. The meat is great but it really is the meat seasoning that pushes it over the top good. Not difficult at all to make and nobody ever forgets your tacos😉
