Hello all,
So I am growing a feminized seed, regular photoperiod plant. I screwed up initially and put it outside too early, so it immediately started flowering. I should have known better…..anyway, it was in full flower, beyond the pre flower stage.
I started putting it in my garage under a fairly bright fluorescent light every evening at dark, for several hours, hoping it would revert back to veg.
Things stayed that way for about 2 weeks and I decided to do something that probably wasn’t too smart. I picked all the little budlets off the plant. Every single one of them……thankfully it’s not a big plant yet. I’m not sure what my rationale was but it’s been 7-8 days and I’m wondering if it was the total wrong thing to do….???
U can see in the pic where I plucked them clean. I figured it may stress it for a few days, then it would start growing leaves again. But that’s not happening yet.
So I need someone to fill me in and give me the cold hard truth…….
Thanks everyone for trying to help.

Pretty sure picking the buds off is where you really went wrong. Is there any new growth anywhere you can see?
I can't help much but this will at least bump your post up on the list a bit

It’s been a week and I don’t see any new growth whatsoever…….
I would think it has to do something??? Either start flowering again or kick back into vegging?
I guess she’s quite confused at this point and seems content on staying in purgatory…

Hey Bull.....from the looks of it, it looks like a prime candidate for reveg......

You have about a month for the reveg process...give or take.....but you'd need it under 18/6 20/4 or 24 hours of light for the plant to rev3g...

Hey thanks for the advice and info…..it’s much appreciated.
I’ve been keeping the plant outside in the sun during the day and moving it into my garage under a shop light at night…..so 24 hrs of light.
I can finally see some new growth, albeit small and irregular. All the new growth is down low on the plant…..nothing coming out of the tops.
I’m wondering if I should top it down to where the new growth is starting??? Or will that be too stressful ??
I’ve attached a few pics that kinda show where things seem to be starting…..
Will anything ever grow from those tops that I castrated???
This plant is a seed from a clone that self pollinated and produced like 7-8 seeds. Literally out of roughly 5oz of dried buds came 7-8 seeds. I managed to get one to sprout for my last run and it was absolute fire……the best I’ve ever farmed. I had friends beating down my door wanting it and trying to bribe me with outrageous offers. Anyway, this plant is the last of those seeds, so I’d really like to nurse it back to health and take it to the finish line.
Thanks again and lemme know what u think about the topping idea

Murderer!
I’ve been called worse. The last thing I wanna do is stress the poor girl even more. But with all the new growth coming in down low, I’m wondering if I should just snip off the tops and let her grow out that way????

Brother I’m still tryna figure out why you cut the buds off. At any rate, it takes a while for re veg to happen. Like three months. I would forget about it then remember it again after a month. Note any changes. Take a picture if needed.

I think so, but I'd wait until the new growth looks healthy. The top part you're thinking of cutting off is still photosynthesizing and providing nutrients for the rest of the plant. So, I'd say let the plant grow for a few days to a week before cutting off any more parts of the plant. Maybe post a picture here before you cut.

I love the ts 5s and/or 8s....nothing huge yielding, but sooooo easy.....

Thanks everyone. I’m gonna ride it out as is for the time being. My indoor run has another 4-5 weeks plus I use that space to hang dry, so that’ll take another 10-14 days. I’m promising not to do anything radical in those 6 weeks.
The only issue is I should probably move it to a bigger container at some point. I think I’ll give it about 2 weeks and if all looks good I’ll transplant to a 10gal…..which will be its final home.
Thanks again for all the help.

I’m getting some growth but wondering if it’s hermied on me?? I know reveg growth can be weird but I’m getting a bad feeling. Can u see anything from the pics?? The middle of the plant is growing at a decent clip…..the main tops are still bare…
