That’s the goal haha if it ant handle the weight I’m growin that variety again and I’m bulkin up its all about the hunt I did another beefsteak last year with a huge trellis net and it was on the ground, complete disaster as well that’s what I’m switching up this year. I’ll be including vertical strings as well I have the clips already as wel, I document everything I plant, especially here that’s why I update garden pics so much it’s. A reference for next year I’ll use to plant my seeds etc again haha
I do the exact same with pictures very handy to know what things looked like on the same day last year.
I have heard good things about vertical strings with tomato plants if you have the over head support for it. Your set up looks awesome you must pull in a lot of produce!

Morning all grabbed some flower pics then up potted the frostettes and the cali blues freak to 3 gallon pots, will be grabbin clones of each of the frostettes soon, also have another idea, but we’ll see if it work, it’ll be sick

Those roots look awesome. How old is that plant?

That’s the cal blues freak clone, she sbottom left in the canopy April 11th then next pic is April 24th

So I’d say she was stuck in the first April 10th ish I’d have to check my book but about 48 days since she was snipped, she was stuck in dirt though not in my cloner with 3 others that were gifted out

Last pic she’s the plant in front

Garden has really started to explode, cucumbers are really climbing now, already seein some on the vines, same with the zucchini, strawberry’s as shown above are going crazy, all the indeterminate tomatoes are stretchin up ended up doing 10 large red cherry tomatoes, 11 Big Beef F1 Hybrids, 10x organic beefsteaks, determinate are doing well only chose marglobes, have another 24 sprouted under lights for succession planting

So far here’s what’s been used on the plants

The coast of Maine kelp and fish bone megl was used for half of the plants amending, the the tru organics was used on the rest, finished off the 12lb bag after planting with the COM amendments then picked up this jobes organics I’ll grab a few more bags of the tru before the end of the month for the next top dress and then the bone meal for the next top dress on the tomatoes and peppers

After planting everything was watered in with the fish fertilizer then 4 days later I hit them with a EWC tea to build up those micro organisms in the soil, was a light tea 5 gallons of water, then 5 cups EWC, let sit and brew in the sun stirring here and there for a few hours then diluted 1 gallon per 3.5 gallon sprayer, and then a little garden tour at the end

Gunna aim for 2 nice bushes

That chemdog definitely had some kind of mosaic virus. almost 100%. If you get variegated mosaic patterns and leaf deformity that bad def quarantine it. Some of the viruses that cause that can be contagious between plants and be lethal. Some just cause harmless variegation, but deformity and stunting isn't a harmless one. Some plants will catch a mosaic from another plant, and some wont sometimes too. Often a mosaic virus will cause completely different severity of symtoms one lineage to another.

Edit: just realized im replying to super old posts again, m'bad. Subbed up my firend.

All good fam! Yeah it was defenitly messed up, when she stunted I just tossed her out to avoid issues

Got some new stuff I’m working on but my Hydra project is the one I’m excited about haha

The project ~HYDRA~ perpetual journal

There just about finished, will probably chop in another few days most likely, tester is hanging up I’ll give that a go in a few days and we’ll see where we are!

Under the microscope Trichs look mostly cloudy 80-90%ish some ambers showing here and there was definitely hungry at the end but they did good considering the heat and RH issues in week 6-7 glad that got back down, aroma is on point to the mother, just much less purple, but to be expected with 15f higher nighttime temps than the mother had in winter, but buds are about 1/3 to 1/2 bigger than the mother and much denser so hopefully with a good dry it’ll be a nice haul

Morning All, decided to chop today, rh will be a shade high for the next week but lower temps mid 60’s vs the mid 80’s we’ve had the past 2 weeks, good week to let them dry, so let it be! Trichs looked good, hairs have all turned, and she’s lost all her color, and she…is…stinky, got that blueberry hittin in her

Big fans leaves all removed, scrog table legs, shelves, plants, pots all removed and table flipped to hang
