This is her 24 hrs after lst and she is growing a lot. However it seems some of the leave tip are yellow if you look closely, is that normal? Also one of my leaves has grown in and appears to be damaged? Is this normal? That leaf grew in damaged a couple of days ago. And it seems to be some leaves are turning a little purplish tent to it not sure if its suppose to be purple or if its a deficiency.

Looking good! I personally find it much easier to use garden staples. They really allow you to give the shape you want to the plant (shaping secondary branches as well). See attached pics of my current grow and how it started with LST :)
Same, clips too, they are definitely handy.
Best way to create self supporting plants imo is to use pins. End up with them chunky thangs.

It’s hot. Turn your light down.

Hey so my light doesn't have multiple levels, should I raise the light up a bit? It's sitting above it around 24in, also will raising my humidity help with this? My humidity has been at around 50% sometimes 40%

Well you clearly know what your doing Jesus christ them r beautiful. This is my first time so I don't even know how to do most of that. I just learned to do the two tie downs for lst

Yeah you can definitely raise it up to 32inch,
Then you can dial it in a bit more down toward the plant if she wants it. Less is more until the problem stops. 👊🏻🤡

Just try to glean what you can from the pics, lst gives you a pretty decent ability to do what you want with the plant, control height, and most of all bigger yields.

Thank you I'm raising it now! It's my fault I thought as it got older I should lower it a bit.
Nah no need there, it’s more of a stages game, with variables in strain temperament and what it can stand light wise. Every strain is different, a whole shit load are similar too.
So weeeeeeeee! Yay!

Thank you I appreciate the knowledge! Do you know what is going on with that leaf by chance or is that a light problem too? Also is this a leaf I would get rid of eventually since it does have a problem?

I have a pretty good idea yeah.
Have you topped the plant at all?

Also dial back nitrogen it’s on the verge of being in the surplus. Looks like you recently flipped?

I’d snag this leaf as well. It’s covering the goods it looks like.

What does this mean exactly? I just recently gave her water for the first time with fertilizer grow big and I also put diatomaceous earth in the top. Would the nitrogen possibly be from all the silica? And for cutting leaves do you have a video recommendation for instructions on how to do it properly? Just so I don't mess up.

Grow big is a nitrogen supplement. With fox farm always use half of what is on the bottle. Stuff is way too hot.

As far as the de is concerned no.
Just cut the leave off all the way to the man stalk

No I have not topped the plant.
Im going to attribute the leaf coloration on the top to heat also You may want to check for critters under leaf and shit. You are using de and that’s not for no reason, must be already dealing with a pest. I’m going to attribute the leaf distortions to a combo of too much light and critters.

I've identified the pest to be predatory mites from when I transplanted the soil, I've checked everyday I've not seen anything on the plant not even gnats. It was just small white bugs in the top of soil when I got it wet. No other bugs that I've seen. I believe it's the heat as well since I just lowered it a couple days ago.

My training went well for first go could be better imo get some of the training clips there great
The video is from today 22 days into flower
