Morning brother haha, couldn’t sleep as usual, gunna rain today so went out to the garden before it starts so I went out at 5am with the bong, neighbor lifted a joint of my cali blues to me from his deck

These big beef F1’s have 3 layers of fruit set and multiple new sets forming above haha, 4’ tall already and the cherry tomatoes and those hot cherry peppers from those seeds I saved are goin nuts probably around 100-150 flower sites on each plant

Bro fucking I don’t know three weeks ago. We had a really terrible storm and there’s a pecan tree that’s got some issues that’s right by our open gardens and the storm made a big ass branch come down and it landed plumb on both of the big ass raised boxes that I made and Right on top of the cherry peppers didn’t completely kill but 1 of the plants. but they’re still on the bounce back When it comes to the other 4.
It’s been a fucking terrible years when it comes to trees man…

I remember when bongs used to be hand blown and each one was unique, and beautiful. Nowadays it seems they're all made in the same factory in China, with different designs simply printed on them.

Not knocking yours, it's cool and all, but man what I wouldn't give to have some of my old bongs back. They got lost or broken kver the years, unfortunately. But yeah I swear, back in the 80's 90's and early 00's, bongs were as unique as snowflakes, no two looked the same. Now they are all exactly like this, boring clear glass beaker bongs.

I need to dig up some pictures of my old bongs. I had one that was over 2 feet tall, and it was decorated in a Southwest theme with lots of turquoise and orange, and when I would sit down with it between my legs it came right up to my mouth without having to bend over. I took that fucker with me, everywhere I would be driving down the highway hittin that bitch all day not giving a fuck about the legality of it

Ended up breaking it in 2004 on my way back home from college. Sucked, was really pissed and I still miss that bong. To this day I haven't been able to find anything even close to it.

imho legalization destroyed a lot of great things in this industry/culture.

I hear ya! My fruit trees all got decimated from peach leaf curl, fuckin wiped out all the fruit and leaves, just getting some healthy leaves returning now, too bad we won’t see fruit this year, I’ll spray them with copper fungicide before winter then in spring again hopefully that’ll help

this is going to be a serious shot in the dark. i've been searching for a female metal band where one of the women plays a violin. the environment is a desert. saw it years ago and can't for the life of me find it again. don't remember their name but it was excellent and unique. if anyone has any ideas i'd love to hear them. i believe they were middle eastern but searches haven't produced any luck.

Yeah, I might still have a couple of them, collecting dust in my best friend's mom's attic. I had left them with him when I moved away from Chicago years and years ago. He said they should still be there, somewhere. Will be nice if they show back up again, someday.

Totally love that big garden. Those peppers well i've not seen so many flowers on pepper plants. Did you grow from seed are they left over from your peppers last year?

I use to make my own back in the day, high school science lab was an excellent place to source materials, and there was the pog phase in the mid nineties that was the building block of many fine hand crafted bongs too. (Pogs were 1 1/2” cardboard circles with Pokémon characters printed on them, they stacked up quickly if you collected them, so the best storage option was plastic tubes in various lengths and colors). One of my favorite little bubblers was made out of an orangina bottle, with a teardrop shape. We’d use rubber stoppers and drill two holes into them, one hole would get the stem that went down to the bottom and the other hole would get a small section of airline tubing (from an air pump).

Eventually we started seeing an emergence of hand blown glass pipes, actually knew a guy who blew his own glass pipes. He would ask us to save him the gold flakes in goldschlagger because they would add color to the glass when he applied them to the surface and heated them.

I didn’t buy my first glass bong until 2003, it was almost two hundred dollars and was definitely a beautiful piece, ergonomic in design and heavy duty. It disappeared after a while .

Nowadays I have a full assortment of bongs and pipes to choose from, and I will admit that I don’t mind that they are cheaper than the old school ones, only for the fact that when they do break it’s not as big a let down.
