Soil, hydro, etc. A photo period plat in soil seems to be the general consensus around here for beginners. growing can get really murky really quick( it doesnt need to be) you really have to do some reading to understand the basics(the need of the plant, what the plant does at certain points of its life cycle) I would suggest starting a “starting a grow, help me thread”. if you put some good solid intelligent thought into what your trying to build youll get some folks interested in helping you.
have fun along the way, dont get caught up in the "not sure what its called" lol but dont get caught up in it, it can take the fun out of it really quick! if you have any questions further im more than happy to help as much as I can until I cant : )

start there : ) indoor or out? soil or hydro or anything in between? then figure out what strains you want to grow. lots of threads here you can read through and get an idea of whats up! jump in some of the threads and chat it up : ) everyone here is really friendly and willing to answer even the simplest questions if its helping you understand something

Not small , its good for sea of green with 1 gallon pot or a 12/12 from seed , my box its small too, 80cmx80cmx160cm 16 pot of 3.4l
