Are all vaporizers created equal?

We like the flavor. It's my wife's vaporizer. She's more sensitive to flavor than I am, and she prefers the CFX to her Mighty+ and Pax Plus. I think it has the best air flow. It draws air through a tube from the bottom and the oven is at the top. That seems to make a difference and makes it easier to clean.

The CFX looks like a Mighty, but it's lighter. One thing we like is how it has two charger connections. One is the usual USB C type. The other supports a wall charger that makes charging a lot faster than the USB.

I might try. It's flying in promo for 99 euro at ours. Do you have normal version or CFX+?

You all got me going now. I have not smoked on vaped flower since the volcano was new. Im going to have to pick one up now to complete the collection. I have a titanium e-rig, a glass banger and love dabs and vapes. I should have gotten one a long time ago now, with weed quality being so much better than what even the most fire chronic was 20 years ago i bet the vapor is awesome! I honestly just had not even thought about those until now. Thanks for the good idea!

I have an Arizor XQ2 dry herb vape. Its 2 1/2 years old and I use it all the time. Its $200 and has bag, a hose like a hookah, and different bowls: one big one for taste, one for filling several bags of vapor, and one for simmering oil or potpourri.

You can set any temp from 100 to 500 Fahrenheit, and it has remote control for laying back on the couch and toking away.

it have remote control lol 🤣 😆

The variety is so much better than 20 years ago. I started poking through a vapor (planet of the vape) site last night. Wow. The handhelds look awesome but i dont really smoke on the go. I think a desktop is more appealing and i think i might try the Ditanium Vaporizer. Its sexy. It also dabs concentrate and flower at the same time. I notice a very solid boost in my high when im mixing concentrates and flower on my stony days off so that in one dab appeals to me in an exciting way.

If someone has a great reason not to purchase this brand id love to hear it...otherwise im pretty sold on this and will provide feedback after i use it a bunch.

I don't have a reason not to buy it, but you might want to wait and watch for a sale. They have frequent sales. We've bought several vaporizers from POTV and like the site. I'd appreciate your feedback because we've been thinking about buying a tabletop model. That one certainly looks nice. I didn't see how large the oven is, though.

Copy. Thats good thinking. I would like to have it and be using it by october so i can vape on my first harvest. I make edibles out of my dispensary flower for now to maximize my dollar. I will keep an eye out for a sale.

Alright here's the feedback. If you dab on a ti enail and enjoy it this vape should hit your collection! The combo dab vape is off the chain! I ALMOST got the vapor bros rig but after watching the way the dude loaded distillate into it by smearing the shit on a ceramic screen and putting it vertical in the wand was a huge turn off. This thing has a quartz enail up on top so I can drop concentrates of any kind in with my dab tool.

The oven is able to hold a fat joint so it must be north of a gram. I don't feel safe with the glass one that comes with it so I just ordered a titanium.

The pulls on the vapor are so flavorful and smooth that it's almost unbelievable.
The dab and vape is so good. I mean it's the best dabs I've ever done. The draw back is the quartz opening is so tiny that I can't swab it after I dab it. The super heat function smells like shit and I dislike orders that flush out my weed smell. So I ordered a 2nd quartz bowl so I can rotate out one soaking in alcohol. My wife is more hit or miss with the smoke toys and if she is going to use it really makes or breaks it. She agrees this thing gives the most flavorful and best dabs when teamed with a vape. She likes it better than dabs from a banger. She thinks it cleaner than dabs off the ti enail which has been the champ for probably 5 years now. The ditanium is a contender for favorite by way of most frequently used. The enail has not been turned back on since the test run of the big vape.

It is great, but it can not do flower and you can not have a set up that does both. Dabs are a mess. If you want a true vaporizer, the Silver Surfer does flower (raw dabs) dabs and also diffuses oils, and it is built in the USA. Also, it can connect to any glass.
I'll def. check that one out. ✌️

I ended up getting a dry vape last night. I am on the fence with it. I bought the Randy's Echo. 59.99. I did not want to spend a lot in case I didn't like it. https://randys.com/product/echo-dry-herb-vaporizer/

My thoughts so far.

  1. It seems to use the weed up faster than using a lighter and targeting the flame in the bowl.
  2. I have 2 strains harvested atm. Both of them taste the same in the vape.

The biggest issue is taste. I like a glass pipe. When clean, you get great flavor from the buds. Even when not so clean you can get good flavor in the 1st 1-3 hits then it starts to turn in flavor.

With this vape, everything tastes the same,it has a really strange after taste too. Is this normal? I heard that dry vapes were the "bees knees" for getting the most flavor from your buds. What am I doing wrong? Is it because it's new? God I hope so.... even though 60.00 is not a huge investment.... it's a lot for something I have used 3 times and may not use again if this taste does not change. 🤔 😵‍💫

there exists 2 types of vape.one that heats the bowl and one that heats the air that comes to the bowl. cheaper ones will burn your weed soo its beasicly like smoking a pipe.and the more expensive one you can adjust the temp of warm air from 130-160C.
when you are smoking at the end of session your buds should just change the color to a darker shade.yes you can go to the popcorn taste but after watching them under a microscope only the trunks stay there.and after smoking only the trunks you are not missing anything good its always a high that makes you go liedown and sleep non of the fun stuff is left at least in my opinion.

i got the 722 it has 5 temps but if you inhale longer it goes over the temps it said it would do.i consider them only as the starting temp. i smoked buds hash resin and pressed crap.easy to clean but after 2 years now its stained.had to change the rubbers a few months ago but all in all i get a lot higher from vaping then from a joint.i guess all goes in the lungs and it doesnt burn in the ashtray while your talking :D

as for the flavor when i smoke freshly dried buds its like chewing on the buds. and alsoo compared to the joints there is no tabacoo or ash taste soo there is a huge difference. and many strains will taste the same but some are different and you can really taste it. specifically my last strain that has some polen in the buds the polen makes the buds taste like flowers.

We keep reading about cost and temperature. If you had got my customized VG in your hands you'd know there's a lot of mirage in this stance.

Recently i was reminded of an old idea expressed over a decade ago about LASER heating, which resurfaced and this time there's a hint of relevant begining: its colour moving toward blue was a rational intuition and the use of aerial ceramic foam as a secondary heat (conversion) source resulted in a commercially-available ready-made implementation, but still expensive for a conduction mode device. Yet i keep hoping the manufacturer will persist and think of a more powerful tabletop model where the light pulse is shortened and energy mainly converted into a multitude of hot air pockets waiting to flood a bowl via airflow, possibly with a metal screen to tame down the radiative heat vector in order to preserve the herbs until inhalation occurs (only a few seconds after the pre-heating cycle). That way all molecules receive virtually infinite energy within the range of application and leave away from the heat source as soon as they become airborn, then post-vaporisation re-heating as demonstrated by Enrico Bouchard (with his Sublimator) should heat-shrink the microscopic droplets to improve bio-availability through the pulmonary/blood barrier, only after excess heat been removed but before condensation could occur, of course.

Picked up an Arizer Solo 2 vaporizer to try vaping over smoking. I liked the idea of the tubes and controllable temp so went with this.

Ran it 385 and 390 on dry bud. Barely any smoke as I was expecting blowing a cloud like an e-cig. Are vaporizers for weed all like this?

The big issue though is the taste. Wife likes the less throat burn, smell, and coughing but a bit disgusted about the taste. Is this because the temps used or the way the Arizer works?

Was looking at the Pax but went with the Solo2 to try. Is the Pax any different?
Came across this post late, but will leave some feedback from what I experienced. Pax tasted kinda muted to me too tbh, just more portable and stealthy. The big difference for me was airflow.

I switched from a Solo 2 setup to the Norddampf Relict Vaporizer and it felt easier to get thicker vapor without cranking temps into throat destroying territory 😭
